Full day of great experiences - Seeing daily life in a Bajo fishing village, lovely friendly people . Saw Komodo dragons walking on the outskirts of the village, bats in the cave, snorkelling and coral planting. Our guided were great and booking this trip provides icons for Rinca Islas and the coral restoration project. And the fish at lunch was superb.

Good snorkeling cool cave experience - We went as a couple in the morning and we were picked up at our resort and it was a pleasant drive to the boat. The dock was a bit dodgy but that was part of the adventure- you just need to watch where you step. We took an old school boat to a reef area and had some good snorkeling for 40 minutes. Then onto the cave which is dark in the morning, but we had it to ourselves- bonus. Our guide and boat driver were both lovely. It is not for lux travellers, or small kids, but good value and a fun adventure out.

Adventure Tour to the Rangko Caves - We went in the morning, and the great thing about this experience is it is pretty rustic and unlike Bali- natural AND not crazy crowded by 40 influencers. We got picked up in Labuan Bajo, nice drive to the boat which is old school wooden, then 15 minute boat trip, snorkeled for 40 minutes around the bay with no flippers (not needed), then had the cave to ourselves. Yeah the cave itself was dark- maybe because its a cave!? If you want it lit up go in the afternoon with the masses. The boat was old school, the guide was friendly and helpful. The dock was a bit Hati Hati dodgy with many missing planks, but part of the fun- though the government officials should wake up and fix it as this is a cool experience worth doing. More for the adventurous than those seeking a lux experience- good value for money.

Recommended, go in the morning and be the first - Friendly and easy. Went in the morning and we were only three people in the cave. The snorkeling was outstanding, also no one else around. Fully recommended.

A bit of an adventure - Great tour and got to see everything we wanted. Dock has a few gaps in it when walking to boat but it’s worth it for the overall trip. Snorkeling was a lot better then expected, they take you to a coral reef

Nice trip to the cave, not snorkeled - The trip to the Rangko cave was very nice, special experience to swim in the clear waters of the cave. It is very touristy so you swim in the water with a lot of tourists. Unfortunately there was too much wind, so we were not allowed to snorkel afterwards. The Guide gave us more time in the cave and on the beach, but since we had booked the tour mainly for snorkeling, we were a bit disappointed.

Not worth it, especially if snorkeling is not possible. Very nice Guide who does his best. - Trip was very disappointing, especially for the money. Far too expensive. Due to the wind and strong currents we could not snorkel. This is beyond anyone's control, but we had booked the afternoon trip. My suggestion would then be to contact in the morning asking to move or to refund part of the amount and that you only do the cave. The cave is funny in itself, but not spectacular. You can enjoy yourself for half an hour. We were given a total of 2 hours to swim on the beach, but there is nothing to do there either. No shade anywhere either. Our Guide was very friendly and did his best to make something of it. Took us to a hill before sunset, but since it was only 5pm and the demise doesn't start until 6pm, we indicated we would like to go back. The man was kind enough to bring a bottle of water for everyone. Conclusion; for 43€ per man I would absolutely not do this, especially if snorkeling is not possible. Or give a heads up and an alternative (move or share money back), or make it cheaper at all. Especially if you can book a day trip of 6 destinations locally in labuan bajo for 70€.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - UNLESS YOU'RE INTO DARK CAVES - I normally don't leave reviews but this time I'm making an exception because I don't want other tourists to experience disappointment and frustration like we did. This is regarding Rangko Cave. No one from this company nor on their website bothered to note that the Rangko Cave is best experienced at 3pm when the sun actually shines into the cave's opening (only with sunlight is it a visibly blue cave). We booked the morning tour, and when we got to Rangko Cave, it did not look like the beautiful blue glowing water cave as seen in the photos online. Instead, it was a dark and gloomy cave with bats flying out of it. Our guide scurried away to have coffee with his friends as if he knew this would trigger unhappy customers and clearly wanted to avoid the backlash. This cave, I kid you not, was too dark to safely enter the water. No one wanted to risk getting hurt on the rocks, so we just took photos and left. What a scam! The whole point was to swim in the "blue" cave! We confronted the guide and he said that it was noted on the website when is the best time to view the cave. LIES! It did not say that anywhere. But what does the guide care?! It's ultimately the owner's fault for deceiving his customers. Shame on him! When we got back to our hotel, we asked locals about the cave and they all confirmed that it should be visited later in the afternoon when the sun shines into it. Fantastic! I'd avoid this company at all costs, solely due to their dishonesty. They're driven by greed.
