Recommended for those with no time - Everything went smoothly on the tour. The guides were kind and felt it was a very good tour. If there's one thing I'd point out, snorkeling isn't that beautiful, so I think swapping it for Pink Beach and all that would increase the number of participants.

The better komodo tour - Such a pleasant tour! Even tho the tour duration is short, i felt satisfied with the tour bcs Alex, our tour guide did such a great job. He went out of his way to show us sea creatures in snorkeling. The komodo park is much better than the other tour. Love it

Fantastic Sunset Tour - I booked the Sunset at Komodo tour through TripAdvisor, and I couldn’t be more pleased with everything. The itinerary included stops at Kelor Island, Manjarite Beach, Rinca Island (where the Komodo dragons are), and a sail along Kalong Island to see the flying foxes/bats during the sunset. The itinerary was executed exactly as stated. I was picked up at my hotel at 11am. We stopped to pick up guests at other hotels before making our way to the harbor . We were swiftly shown to our comfortable boat for our group of 15 passengers. The boat was large enough to accommodate everyone, and we never felt crowded. Additionally, there were two bathrooms, which included showers for washing up after the beach. Very comfortable. Our guides were informative, friendly, and always more than willing to take pictures when asked. The highlights of the tour for me were the stops at Rinca Island where we saw dragons, and watching the Flying Foxes during sunset. Simply stunning. From start to finish, professional. I was back at my hotel around 7:30pm. I would definitely recommend this tour with Explorcation. *****

Nice evening activity from Labuan Bajo. - Watching the flying foxes leave the mangrove forest at sunset was amazing to witness. The boat was of better quality and size than another Komodo area tour I had been on. The hike was very steep over eroded dirt and rocks. The group (mostly young and in shape) struggled up and down the “path”, and those without good hiking shoes risked falling and getting hurt.

OK, but too expensive - Value for money is not right. 1. Stop Kelor Island tourist trap ‘hiking’ are 10 minutes up a small hill with no special views, down below all the stalls selling things. 2. Stop snorkeling was nice 3. Stop Rinca apart from Komodo dragons nothing special. According to guide 50:50 if you see Komodo dragons. 4. Stop sunset/sighting bats was nice, but everything on the boat is not island again Lunch OK, unfortunately cold. Boat well air conditioned with option to sit on the roof. Full day free water and iced tea. Overall excursion fine but far too expensive.

Poorly organized - Unfortunately, this activity is very poorly organized and communication is poor. You learn about changes at short notice or not at all, nobody really knows English, the named pick-up place was wrong and at the boat you are also left to your own devices, without any information. And that for dead corals. It's way too expensive for that.

Could have been so different if the guide had done his job - We paid the extra to guarantee that we would get to go on this trip but nevertheless I received messages trying to persuade me to change the date plus one that said we couldn't visit Rinca because of the sea conditions (I don't know how they could know this one day in advance). At the time I was without Internet access so only saw them on the day of the trip. All WhatsApp messages had been deleted at this point but I got emails via viator. When we arrived there were 6 local people and a child already on the boat. The guide Beng? hardly spoke to us but was chatting to the others. I can't say for sure but it seemed they might be his family as the child seemed very attached to him. Lunch was given to us far removed from the others on the boat. I was left to snorkel on my own whilst he yet again spent time with the "family". The rangers on Rinca were amazing and gave us lots of info about the komodo dragons. Our guide was nowhere to be seen. In fact the trip could have been great if we had had a guide but I think we were a hindrance to him. Lastly you took your life in your hands getting off the boat at the end of the tour because one slip and you would have been dead

Bad communication. Overpriced. - Communication was terrible. We heard nothing until I messaged them an hour or so before leaving. We were waiting at the pier and were told to wait for a car. I made it very clear we were already at the pier. 5 more minutes. 5 more minutes. We get in the car and drive around the block to the pier where we already were… The days activities were not adequately described and we disembarked after a mere 30 seconds on the boat to find a better tour (of which there are MANY). Viator is no help and overcharged as well. They said they would refund, but then denied after we left.

It's a terrible tour company. - It was a terrible tour company. I signed up for a Komodo Dragon viewing tour and was waiting to be picked up in the hotel lobby at 11am, but at 11:15 I was suddenly emailed and told that today's tour had been cancelled because someone else had cancelled. I ended up going to Komodo Island in time for another tour, but I couldn't see Komodo Dragon. I don't recommend this tour company!
