A Journey Full of Flavor, Fun, and Fascination - This was such a wonderful excursion! The zoo was absolutely fascinating, with so many unique animals and beautiful surroundings. We also visited a chocolate factory and tasted white, milk, and dark chocolate—which was such a delicious experience. The chocolate and rum tastings were a real treat, and the rum cakes were simply delightful.
Our guide, Luis, was superb—so knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. He made the entire experience engaging and memorable.

Outstanding! - This trip with Luis was a biggest highlight of our whole cruise! From the first minute we met I understood it's going to be special. His manners, perfect English, knowledges and a sense of humor made our excursion so entertaining, easy going and enjoyable by each of us. He is smart and quick, knows your needs ahead of time. The bad part was that we had to go back to the ship. I wish we could explore Roatan more with him. My teenage daughter and son loved monkeys tour most. I liked all, my favorite was monkey and the beach time. Eating a whole fried red snapper at the beautiful beach at the end was awesome. He makes stops at all beautiful places to take your pictures. His car is clean, comfortable and airconditioned, with no odor or choking perfume. He knows what you can bring back on ship and what you can't. Do not waist time to look more, book with Luis and check mark as done for your vacation plans.

Great Tour & Even better Value - We were looking to do an excursion while in Roatan on our cruise & Sandris was great! We had our own private van & were treated to a guided tour of the island. Malcom our tour guide was friendly & knowledgable. If you are looking for something to do skip the expensive cruise ship excursions & go with Sandris!
They picked us up right at the port & were mindful to get us back in time.

Great Day at Roatan - We had a great day at Roatan thanks to Chriss from Sandris tours! He was remarkably friendly and knowledgeable and was happy to let us determine what we wanted to do (and not do) on the tour. Chriss was patient and knowledgeable as he answered all of our questions about local culture, flora and fauna and he shared with us why he likes the island so much. Mayan Eden is an amazing experience, but we were disappointed that other guests and groups were allowed to do things with the animals that we could not. This was certainly not the fault of Chriss, but of the guide we were assigned at the park who was noticeably uptight and reserved compared to the other park guides. Other guides provided food for their guests to give to the monkeys and other animals which provided a more interactive experience. Unfortunately we were told we weren’t allowed to feed or touch the animals even though the other guides who did encourage it wore the same shirts and worked for the park. That was disappointing. However on our way to Mayan Eden, we were talking to Chriss about local foods and he mentioned empanadas. We said we all loved them. So while we were exploring Mayan Eden Chriss went and found us locally made empanadas to enjoy traveling to our next stop. What a sweet surprise and they were delicious! The Mayan chocolate and rum stops were interesting additions to our day. Chriss was great about helping us navigate through the visitors to the chocolate place so we were helped very quickly on a busy day there. Our stop at the beach was a perfect way to end our time exploring the island. The beach was beautiful with crystal clear water and fish swimming around that you could see. Also on the beach there was a trainer who had a monkey who offered an interactive experience with the curious critter (with lots of pictures taken) that we weren’t allowed to get at Mayan Eden. Fortunately there we were able to hold the monkey, feed it and get our pictures with an even more beautiful background than we had originally hoped for at Mayan Eden! Overall Chriss made us feel very welcomed and valued and we can’t wait to return to that amazing island.

Great time! - We had a greatt time. Fany is an excellent driver and her tour guide, Rolando, is exceptional. The monkey and sloth tour was great. Being able to interact with the animals really made it special. We opted to not go to the beach so I can’t comment on that. Recommend if you choose this tour, request Fany and Rolando.

We loved our tour on Roatan with Sandri’s - We just got back from a cruise on the Royal Caribbean Harmony and went on an excursion in Roatan with Sandri’s Tours. Our guide was Malcolm, who met us when we got to the tour meeting point. The vehicle he picked us up with was a nice, clean air conditioned Toyota van. First stop was the sloth and monkey sanctuary. There was much more than the monkeys and sloths. We enjoyed visiting the butterflies and hummingbirds area where we even saw a hummingbird sitting in a nest. The butterflies were beautiful! Next to the monkeys- one sat on our shoulders and took peanuts from us. Then we got to take pics with a sloth named Turbo. The look on my daughter’s face was priceless! She also got to hold a baby badger. It was a neat place and the guides and trainers there were knowledgeable and friendly.
Malcolm, our tour guide stopped for drinks for us since it was quite hot and humid before taking us to taste chocolates and rum and about an hour at a small beach. We were the only ones at the little beach which was kinda cool!
We had a wonderful time with Malcolm driving us around much of the island showing us different neighborhoods and parts of the beautiful, colorful Roatan. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. We enjoyed our trip and tour with him and would recommend both Malcolm and the Sandri’s Tour company for your visit to Roatan.

Fun day around the island - The tour was very nice. We had a private tour and she told us about the history of the island I would recommend Fane as a tour guide. The tropical zoo was great we saw animals that are native to the island. The beach was great way to end the day.

Amazing Excursion with an Even Better Guide! - Our trip started off a bit rocky—three members of our group got separated and missed the original pickup. We had requested to continue with just the six of us, and our incredible guide Malcom did just that. But once we were able to get in contact with the others about 20 minutes into the trip, Malcom didn’t hesitate to turn back and pick them up. That level of dedication and flexibility truly set the tone for the day.
The drive to the wildlife experience (monkeys, sloths, and more) was quick and easy—about 25 minutes with a scenic stop overlooking the city. The staff at the wildlife park were friendly, and it was clear the animals were well cared for.
Afterward, we were taken to what felt like a private beach spot with just a couple of other groups around. There was a convenient beachside restaurant/bar with food and drinks available.
The last stops were a chocolate tasting and rum tasting—short visits, but still fun and enjoyable.
Overall, a fantastic experience. 10/10 would recommend—and if you can, request Malcom as your guide!

Sunday West End - The Maya animal park was the best. The tour says we are going to Rum company but it was closed on Sunday. I'd recommend having a different tour that doesn't promise stops that aren't open. We might have gone on a different day.
