Instructions on how to fall safely and manage wipeouts.
Equipment Setup:
Provide rash guards, reef-safe sunscreen, and soft-top surfboards.
Adjust leashes and explain board handling techniques.

Land Training (30 mins)
Basic Surf Theory:
Learn about waves (how they break, identifying surfable waves).
Surf stance (pop-up technique) and paddling methods.
Practice Pop-Ups on Sand:
Demonstration followed by student practice to develop muscle memory.

Entering the Water & First Waves (1 hour)
Guided Entry: Instructor assists students in navigating the break.
Whitewater Practice:
Begin in shallow, broken waves for stability.
Instructor aids with timing, pushing students into waves.
Progression:
Once confident, advance to unbroken waves (green waves) for more experienced students.
Advice on reading waves, turning, and speed control.
