- Mount Huashan - In the morning, you will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel in Xi’an downtown. After about two-hour drive, you will arrive at the foot of the Mt. Huashan. Upon arrival, you will take a tourist bus to the West Peak cable car station. Then ride on a cable car along 4,211 meters (13,816 ft.) long line to reach the West Peak while enjoying the stunning mountain views.Then head directly to the Middle Peak, which takes about 1 hour to hike. Afterwards, continue the hiking to the North Peak. This is a relatively long hiking journey which takes about 2 hours. Luckily, you just need to hike down at most times. The North Peak is the best place to enjoy the sunset, have a bird’s-eye view of other peaks. The cable car line of the North Peak is around 1,524 meters (5,000 ft.) long and the whole ride takes 7 to 8 minutes.
And then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xi’an to conclude the day trip.

Private tour to Mt Huashan - The wife and I had a very positive experience overall engaging Travel China with our guide Roger; he had very good knowledge of the place we visited, he was such a friendly personality which made us talk so much and not even feel the time past as we drove to Huashan. The tour was very well organised right from the punctual pick up, clean and comfortable car, professional driver and they were very accommodating to our fitness level as we climbed the steps to the peaks. Roger went the extra mile recommending excellent restaurants for us to dine and the best spots for us to take pics. Look forward to seeing him again in Xi'an for another trip.

Family visit to Mt Huashan - Do the Mt Huashan trip with Rodger! He’s brilliant. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable. Even made our teenage kids smile their way up the three peaks in the heat. Gorgeous scenery. Scary cable car! A wonderful show - with camels, a waterfall, rotating stage, and wolves - on the way home. And great food stops. A fabulous day. Thanks Rodger :)

Xi'an Mt Huashan Private Day Tour - We booked our tour before leaving Australia as we only had one day for touring. Grace who looked after our arrangements was fantastic to deal with and very responsive to all enquiries.
The trip itself was seamless and all details excellent. The mountain is amazing and i would recommend visiting. It does require some level of fitness. Sasha our English speaking guide was very good.

Spectacular mountains and cable car - It leaves from your hotel in Xi’an. It's about 120 kilometers to the cable car base. The ascent - and subsequent descent - in it, is simply spectacular, both for the views and the dramatic and beautiful mountain landscapes through which you will ascend and descend. Upstairs you will find several signs to take different routes, some more demanding and others “softer”. We decided to take the less hard routes and although you won’t see spectacular mountain walls, you will enjoy everything around you. You will not be too high (there are several peaks or peaks) the stairs are carved in stone some and the walkways are in wood but often without handrails or railings. You have to watch carefully. Anyway a very nice day trip. Upstairs you come to be in your air really a total of about 3 hours the other is occupied in arriving and getting on and off in the cable car and back to Xi’an.

Great views - very accessible cable car rides - On September 21, 2018 guide Fred Lu took us to Huashan Mountain for a day tour. Fred was excellent in explaining our options for going up the mountain. He suggested taking the North Peak cable and walking up to the West Peak cable. This was an excellent recommendation as it was definitely safer and less crowded in this direction. Also the China Travel Guide people very kindly made an adjustment to our total cost when one of our group had to cancel due to illness. We would certainly would choose China Travel Guide and guide Fred Lu for any future tours.
