• Mount Huashan - Meet the guide and driver in the morning to embark on a journey to Mount Huashan, which takes approximately 2 hours by car. Located in Huayin City, 120 kilometers (about 75 miles) east of Xi’an City in Shaanxi Province, it is renowned as ‘The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven’. It is one of China’s five sacred mountains. Upon arrival, take a cable car to either the West Peak or North Peak. Then, hike to the South Peak, the highest point of Mt. Huashan. After taking in the breathtaking scenery and expansive views, descend the mountain via cable car.
• Mount Huashan - If time permits, enjoy a local lunch. Then proceed to visit the Xiyue Temple, a must-see attraction. The Xiyue Temple is located 5 kilometers (about 3.1 miles) north of the base of Mt. Huashan and is one of the oldest temples in ancient China. Its main features include palaces and gardens, which resemble the style of the Forbidden City in Beijing, earning it the nickname ‘Forbidden City of Shaanxi Province’. After the visit, return to the car for the drive back to Xi’an.
