- Hurricane Ridge - We will conclude our explorations by visiting Hurricane Ridge during the afternoon. Our Naturalist Guide will lead a guided hiking tour along various trails from the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center. Guest hike as much or as little as they want for up to 3 miles.

Embark on an extraordinary day tour of Olympic National Park, featuring three distinct experiences. Discover rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and mountains. Begin with a 2-mile guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, a breathtaking 50-foot waterfall on the Sol Duc River, surrounded by some of the finest old-growth forests on the Olympic Peninsula. Visit the historic Lake Crescent Lodge and take in the stunning shoreline views of this glacier-carved lake. Following a planned stop in Port Angeles, relax and enjoy a scenic drive from sea level to 5,242 feet at Hurricane Ridge. After lunch, partake in a guided hike through the picturesque subalpine meadow trails and enjoy the expansive vistas of the Olympic Mountains.

- Our meet-up location is in Port Angeles, WA, which is the main epicenter for exploring Olympic National Park. Please note that this is about a 3 hour one-way trip from Seattle.

Fantastic day exploring the Olympics!! - Great guide, friendly, knowledgeable and insightful about the local eco system. They added value to an already amazing day. Enjoyed beautiful scenery while learning much from a local naturalist - We spent an informative day with our naturalist, Oscar, seeing beautiful scenery and leaning much about the local sites, flora, fauna and animals. Having him drive us around and give a comprehensive narrative allowed us to absorb a lot in a single day. We would recommend this trip to anyone looking for an active day surrounded by nature.

Good tour - Great experience. Got to see 3 different sites in one day and on a very busy holiday weekend. Our guide Ben was a walking encyclopedia on plant and animal species, geology, and history of the area. Every question asked related to the areas toured was answered-I walked away feeling smart on the Park.

Highly recommend - Excellent trip! Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, answered all questions thoroughly. Hike was excellent, although a bit tough for me, I loved it! Time spent at each stop wasn't rushed and yet we stayed on schedule.

Amazing Day at Olympic National Park - We could not have had a more amazing day! It was so awesome to experience Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc Falls and Lake Crescent with an expert on the area. Tommy was amazing and kept us informed and entertained all day.. We were also lucky to be here on a warm sunny day and even luckier to see bears, deer and a marmot! The tour company was organized and the vans clean and comfortable. This was truly a wonderful experience.

If you’re visiting Olympic National Park everyone should do at least one tour with this company! - We have gone on many tours through Viator when visiting new cities and they have all been great but Olympic Hiking Co. was by far the best tour company we have ever gone on a tour with… ever! From Bonnie- the very first person we met at the front desk - to our tour guide, Tommy, every single person we interacted with was absolutely wonderful.
My husband and I signed up for a group tour and to our surprise when we got there no one else had signed up for the tour that day. Rather than canceling due to not having enough signed up or charging us more for what was essentially a private tour they told us that whether 1 or 12 show up the tour runs as planned. From the moment we met our tour guide and owner, Tommy, you could immediately tell that he absolutely loves what he does. Even though it was just the three of us all day it never feel like we had a stranger driving us around and half heartedly talking at us - it truly felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend who was showing us around a park that he loves. It honestly felt like he was just as excited as we were to get out and see the sights. He tailored the trails to our skill level and was a wealth of knowledge about the area.
Tommy made our day absolutely unforgettable and this tour is a core memory for both me and my husband — we are still talking about it almost a week later!! We cannot thank you all enough for giving us such an incredible experience!!! If you’re going to Olympic National Park everyone should do at least one tour with this company!

The BEST TOUR EVER thanks to Oscar! - Oscar is truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had! I spent such a wonderful and joyful day with him today. He is incredibly professional and genuinely passionate about the forests, mountains, animals —everything related to nature. His deep love for this land and his work shines through in every way!
This journey allowed me to truly reconnect with nature through sight, sound, smell, and touch. Thanks to Oscar, I no longer see these rainforests, moss-covered trails, and mountain peaks as just names on a map—they’ve become precious gifts from nature itself that we can truly feel.
I hope one day I can return and choose another unforgettable adventure with the Olympic Hiking Co. crew members. This short trip was nothing short of magical!
