Excellent tour! - Allegra was a fantastic guide. She knew all of the factual information that we wanted to hear, but also added some very interesting facts about various controversies and discussions surrounding the memorials. The pace she used was just right for our group. She was a fantastic tour guide.

Great way to walk around the mall - We had Jiana as our guide. She was wonderful. She told us things kids can look for at each site. The pace was fast pace to accommodate everyone in the group but it got my kids up and running. She’s got wonderful stories behind the memorials and monuments. We loved it.

A lot of walking - Overall the tour was great! It is a lot of walking so prepare yourself with good walking shoes. We were there in 90 degree weather so make sure you also take water and if possible a little fan to help cool you down. Joe our tour guide was great, he was patient and knowledgeable. The Washington Monument was canceled due to the extreme heat which was a huge bummer since that was one of the things I was looking forward to. However the company does not have any control over that. We still enjoyed the tour and would do it again! 😊

Tour of National Mall and Monuments - Alex did a great job on what turned out to be a tour for two. He shared great information about the monuments, including the history and meaning behind the movements’ design and symbols, that helped these two locals learn more about this important place. He was an engaging and knowledgeable guide whose humor and personality made the time fly by.

Alex made this tour AMAZING! - Our tour guide, Alex D. was FABULOUS! He was SO knowledgeable about history; we were really impressed. The weather was hot and Alex was very good about making sure we were all hydrated and comfortable. We enjoyed every aspect of the walking tour, but when we got to the Washington Monument it was closed due to weather (heat), so I feel some sort of reimbursement should have been offered.

Disappointed - We were extremely disappointed in the inability to go up the Washington Monument…..frankly the only reason we took the tour. Crap happens!

Great Tour til the End - Alex did a great job sharing tidbits of information about each place we visited. His energy was infectious and we enjoyed our tour. Only complaint was that it is planned as a 3 hour tour, and at 2.5 hours he advised he was needing to leave to catch a train to do his next tour. He left us at the Washington Monument waiting for our tour to the top to begin. He did not leave us tickets or anything to give to the employees, but he did speak to someone advising we were here and he was leaving, however, we had no idea if that "plan" was going to work and him saying " if any issues come up, just remind them of him in his orange jacket". That did not leave a great taste of surety in my mouth, so while standing there waiting for an hour or so to do our timed entry, (which was an hour late when we were able to finally get inside) it was windy and cold and anxiety ridden wondering if we would get to go in at all. Thankfully it did work out and the views from the top of the Monument were amazing. But the ending sort of ruined some of the better moments prior. If you assigned him to another tour that interfered with him completing this tour, that is poor scheduling on the company's part, and if that was his doing, you need to know your guide is leaving groups unattended before the tour is officially finished.
