Stunning Views, Incredible Tour Guide - The monuments at night were stunning. Our guide, Joel, was knowledgeable and friendly. By the end of the tour I felt like I had learned so much about DC and our government. He took the time to give us history of the monuments while mixing it with jokes to keep things entertaining. I’ve been on a million tours, but this one hit different. Best tour of my life. I took my daughter, 1(5, she also loved it and took awesome photos for her socials :)

Great Experience - Even in Snow! - Reggie did an incredible job showing me all the great monuments and memorials, sharing a wealth of interesting information. He clearly has done his research and listens to his customers. He knew I worked in higher education and took a route that would go past the Dept of Education building.! Even in the rain/snow, he had blankets to keep it comfortable. Great experience - highly recommend!!

So much info! - Great tour! Guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Learned about different museums, monetary donations that kept park services free to tax payers, information about buildings and monuments as well as presidential information and fun facts about Washington DC. Would recommend.

Great way to see monuments, Lorenzo was great! - Lorenzo was fantastic!! He was very informative and friendly, allowed us to ask questions and made sure we all got to spend time at the monuments we stopped at. We were able to see all the monuments in the city without the crowds and a lot faster than we would have other wise. We weren’t rushed at all, and you can tell Lorenzo really enjoys what he does. I recommend this tour to everyone if you want a nice way to see monuments and are on a short time frame. 10/10 stars!

Great for Summer? - Our guide, Reggie, was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly individuals I’ve ever met. The insights he shared about FDR and the MLK monument were unique—information you can't find online or in popular biographies. He’s truly a genius, and his passion made the experience fascinating. However, I’m leaving a poor review not because of Reggie, but because of the tour conditions. The weather should have prompted the tour to be postponed or cancelled. I was unaware when I signed up that I would be riding in an open-air golf cart at 19°F with gale warnings in effect, traveling at 25 mph. While they offered blankets, there were no plastic sides on the cart, and unfortunately, blankets didn’t provide enough warmth to make the experience comfortable. I was so miserably cold the entire time that it was difficult to focus on the incredible history and culture being shared. To make matters worse, I woke up this morning feeling chafed and sneezing. It’s a shame that the owners of Urban DC Tours would subject their guests and staff to such harsh conditions without proper consideration.

Way too cold and should have been cancelled. - We took the moonlight tour of DC last night. Our tour guide Reggie was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and did everything he could to make this a memorable tour. Having said that, the tour was a miserable experience. It was 19F outside and NOAA had issued a gale wind warning. Winds were about 21mph and the cart could travel up to 25mph. The tour cart was completely open sided. It offered no protection from the wind and cold. There was no heat. They did offer blankets but they were sorely inadequate even with several layers of warm clothing on. While Reggie was very knowledgeable, I could not focus on what he was saying due to the cold and the wind. Trying to keep warm took my entire focus. I hardly remember a thing about what he told us about the history of DC. If I could go back in time I would cancel this tour and do it during more appropriate weather. I trusted the tour operators to know what they are doing and to provide a safe and comfortable environment for their customers. That trust was misplaced. It was basically two hours of torture, interspersed with some interesting facts. Our tour guide even said that several other people had left the tour part way through during similar weather conditions.
