Excellent Tour!! - This is an excellent tour and one of the most informative and interesting experiences we have done in Washington DC. Bravo and we highly recommend the experience!

Amazing Walk through History - Our tour guide, Dr. Gibson, was excellent! She not so friendly & knowledgeable about every aspect of the his history of slavery in D.C. Her enthusiasm was infectious! Anyone interested in taking this tour will be more than happy with Dr. Gibson's expertise & vibrant personality. My wife & I highly recommend this tour. 👍👍👍

One of the best tours in DC!! - Dr. Gibson, is literally a walking encyclopedia for the city of DC!! I highly recommend this tour it was so enriching for my family and I. We’re still talking about all the amazing black historical figures that contributed to our nation’s capital.

Great tour - Tour guide was wonderful. Great grasp of the city and told us lots of off the beaten path treasures in the city.. want to try some of them on next trip to DC. She was great!!

Don’t Miss this Tour! - We had a fantastic time and learned so much. Dr. Koura was a fantastic guide, she was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. She helped me & my 2 teens get a deeper understanding of the contributions and influences of African and African American culture in the shaping of our nation’s capital as well as talented figures who made invaluable contributions to our country. I am so grateful to have had this experience with my children. This is one of the best tours I have ever been on. I also have to brag just a little more than Dr. Koura. She is a talented teacher and kept us all engaged with interesting stories as well as questions and little quizzes. She is not only intelligent and gifted but she has clearly discovered the fountain of youth. She looks fantastic and several decades younger than her years of credentials would reflect, and she was in better shape than all of us, including my teens. So Dr. Koura is a super star in every sense of the word!

The D C chocolate city review. - The hidden jewels of Black D.C was uncover. Kenny our tour guide shared interesting facts about the City’s history. Learning never ends and Kenny is a great teacher.

Great! - The tour guide was excellent. I just wish we had more time to take it all in. Maybe a small replica of the tour could be built.

Tour guide did not show up - Tour guide never showed up nor indicated via email the tour had been cancelled. We were looking forward to the tour and were very disappointed.

Ni sow tour - Tour guide bever showed up. We met at meeting place qnd stayed until 20 mins past the starting time. Then we left.
