New Georgetown Insights - This is my second DC Design tour. The guides each time have been informative and interesting, and I learned some little known facts and seen things I had not seen and also looked at familiar things in a new way. They are the best.

wow - just wow! - Amazing!!! What a knowledgable and terrific guide (Christine!) we learned so much and enjoyed the history and architecture details shared with us from a true professional who understands and is passionate about this! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - but it was a 5 mile trek - so be aware of that.

Historic Georgetown Tour was GREAT! And so was Kim! - Our tour guide was named Kim. She was fantastic! We chose this tour based on previous reviews and it didn't disappoint. Kim expertly lead us all over town. She took great care to make sure to answer all questions. She was informative, thoughtful and thought provoking in her words about this historic place in the history of our country. We were a mid-sized group of maybe 14 or so, I didn't count. Everyone was able to hear when she spoke. She managed to entertain and educate too! I'd take friends and do it again! I'm not sure why TripAdvisor calls this a Historic Georgetown Architecture Tour because on the DC Design Tour website this is a Historic Georgetown Tour which is more accurate. Sure we looked at architecture but the tour was all about the history of Georgetown.

Company overbooks its tours. Terrible experience. - ompany only cares about money; disappointed. My wife and son were on Georgetown tour that was OVERBOOKED with 24 people instead of advertised maximum of 20. The tour guide had no microphone or any equipment; they couldn’t hear half of the commentary. Being such a huge group, the tour moved very slowly. My wife and son were disappointed and left early. Do NOT book with this company as apparently it is a normal practice for them to overbook!
