Terrific Tour of Eastern Market - This was a great experience! It would be easy to just go to Eastern Market and buy stuff on my own. What made the tour so fascinating was that our guide shared the history and culture of the neighborhood and the role it’s played in D.C. and U.S. history. I recommend this tour even if you think you don’t need it.

AWESOME tour - perfect blend of food and history! 😍🌟👍🎉 - AWESOME tour!! 😍 Food was great at each spot and learned a lot about the history of the area! Had never explored the Eastern Market side of DC so this was perfect! One of my favorite food tastings was the crab cake at Tunnicliff's Tavern and the cheese from Bowers - DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend this tour!! 😊💗👍🌟🎉

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, TOOK IT AS A VEGETARIAN - I know food tours have a hard time offering options to people with special diets but I really appreciate that they made sure there were vegetarian options at each stop. The tour guide did not make me feel like a hassle and integrated the veggie options into the tour seamlessly. I thought the vegetarian option at the crabcake place was a really nice choice, though my favorite stop was the poptarts at the end! SO GOOD! I had seen reviews of Ted's Bulletin before so it was nice to try out their signature item.

AMAZING TOUR GUIDE! - I love food tours and this was one of the best. The guide was super prepared so we did not have to wait long for food at all at the stops. I love that the restaurants were prepared for us but they weren't sampled, we ordered actual food. The guide told us that wthe company doesn't ask for deals or discounts - they support local restaurants and give us real orders (we do split some of the larger options!) Our guide was so kind and helpful after the tour in recommending restaurants to try if we were still hungry but we were not at all. We did come back to Eastern Market the next day to try Ambar for brunch per her recommendation and it was AMAZING!

DIVERSE FOOD OPTION FOR REAL DC VIBES - What I loved most about this tour was hearing the stories of the different types of restaurants and how they represent different cultures in DC. We learned about El Salvadoran (loved the pupusas!) and Ukrainian (we went back to eat here after the tour and it was soooo good!). Our guide did a great job of weaving the different food stops into the history of DC without being too much history. My teenager loved it.

They also had a fun on the tour as our guide was friendly and informative. He shared fascinating stories about the market's history and the vendors we visited.
