The itinerary includes stops at key locations such as the White House, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, US Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, among others. Enjoy the chance to see over 30 landmarks, and take leisurely strolls around 10 of these sites while your guide provides rich historical context and intriguing trivia about the country’s capital. Between March/April 1st and mid-October, the tour features an exclusive boat trip on the Potomac River, starting from historic Georgetown. During this period, lunch can be purchased at various restaurants in Georgetown Washington Harbor. When boat services are unavailable, lunch will be at Pentagon City Mall.

The perfect tour for Washington D.C.'s monuments and sites! - We had a fantastic time on this tour! We saw so many of the country's most important and fascinating monuments and the beautiful City. Our tour guide, Sally, and our bus driver, Valerie, were amazing. Sally is so knowledgeable, and she shared a wealth of information in a manner that was both fun and entertaining. Our tour occurred at the very peak of cherry blossom season, a time of year that is both incredibly beautiful and logistically challenging. The crowds and traffic were unbelievable and created numerous challenges for the tour's busy schedule!! Sally and Valerie were extremely flexible and handled them deftly. They adjusted the order and duration of the stops, over and over again, ensuring that we saw and enjoyed everything!! Valerie's skills as a driver were tested repeatedly - and she was just astounding! The boat ride on the Potomac River was beautiful and fun, capping off a wonderful day.
I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Excellent tour - James, our tour guide, has an amazing level of knowledge and made this tour extremely interesting. Our driver, Chris, was exceptionally confident in traffic, well spoken, and polite. He made extra effort to help everyone out of the van to keep us safe.

Great tour and tour guide - Informative and leisurely. Dwayne (not sure about the spelling) was a fantastic tour guide. He clearly had done his research and shared interesting tidbits you didn’t learn in your history class. It was clear he enjoyed being a tour guide and his excitement was infectious. Every stop on the tour was interesting. I found the Vietnam War Memorial to be especially touching. The Marine Corps Memorial, raising the flag on Iwo Jima, felt especially patriotic. Highly recommend the tour, and with Dwayne.

A great day tour - It was great. We saw monuments and memmorialsthat we didn't know about. Tyrone was an awesome tour guide and Chris was a great driver. There was an abundant supply of cold water. The water cruise was ok.. a little underwhelming after the land tour.

Great experience - I was only in town for 4 days and this was my first time in DC so I wanted to make sure I seen the major parts of history. It’s was very hot but it was worth it! Chris and Tyrone were great! A lot of great information Tyrone gave us! And the boat ride was so relaxing after a long day

Ptomac River ferry failure of communication - Ticketed trip Georgetown (Washington DC) to Alexandria (Virginia) via District Wharf. No one made it clear that the ferry from Georgetown stopped at District Wharf so we stayed on board and missed the connecting ferry to Alexandria. Otherwise lovely river trip.

DO NOT RECOMMEND- running your! Not cherry blossom - We had an older tour guide who had to speak into the microphone, and if you were not standing no more than 5 feet away from him- YOU COULDNT HEAR ANYTHING!!! The walking speed of this tour was INSANE!!! We had multiple people just stop, because they couldn’t keep up! And all that walking was while talking and squeezing through the crowds! Besides the guide mentioning “of there is a cherry blossom tree” there was NOTHING ABOUT CHERRY BLOSSOMS
this tour is about monuments!!! Which is ok… but he kept repeating useless information time after time… so 7 hours of him talking nonstop… and running… nothing registered in the memory at all

Terrible miscommunication, negligence - We hoped to enjoy this tour but , after booking, paying, giving a glowing review to the booking agent Edward Robert from Viator, and coming to the bus ahead of time , we never had to experience it, because the agent or the system never sent information to the provider, we were not on the list of passengers and the bus was already filled with other tourists. There was not a single space left on the bus and we needed three, so we were denied access. The same situation happened to the other family. The next day we had to fly back home, so - no, we definitely did not enjoy our experience.
