best hour of our weekend stay! - I went with my 2 daughters and niece. Wilfred was out tour guide and he was just the highlight of our whole stay. I he was an excellent tour guide and was comedic as well as scary, just enough laughter to stop me dying of fright! My niece felt like something/someone was strangling her and I felt a breath behind me. We all totally enjoyed the tour and the history, and I would highly recommend doing it.

Haunts and Taunts with Fairfoot - Myself, partner, and friend went on the tour this evening with John Fairfoot and we had a very fun and at times chilling experience. Mr Fairfoot was a wonderful guide, regaling us with intriguing and strange stories of true hauntings and events that took place in that house/on site. Thank you to Mr Fairfoot and to Lucy for not taking any of our jewellery.

Spooky candle lit ghost tour. - We never expected to travel to Stratford upon Avon yesterday but in a whim booked a camp site nearby. Having spent the day visiting the historic town and all it had to offer including ice cream by the river we walked past what we discovered to be Tudor world. Wilfred the warden stood outside beckoned us inside in full costume for the candle lit ghost tour. If you love dark stories, pitch black spooky old houses stood in that spot for almost a thousand years this is the place for you. Excellent tour, genuinely spooky experience but also learning a little of the history of the house and its occupants was well worth it. I would not stay there alone!

Plenty of food for thought. - Now as someone who is a believer in ghostly goings on there is a time and a place where it's good to focus, feel the energy and be given the information in a way that is friendly but straightforward and this is where, for me, this tour scores highly. Yes our brilliant guide of the building did have a sense of fun and was dressed for the part and the lantern light added an eery atmosphere, but it wasn't just for laughs. This tour is great for people who really want to hear about ghostly encounters around the building and have a real chance at feeling the atmosphere themselves without someone cracking a joke and spoiling it. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the evening provided a good talking point over the rest of our stay. A must for visitors who are interested in the paranormal or simply curious about ghostly goings on.

A light romp round a museum at night - It’s a slightly bizarre kind of ghost tour without theatrics or jump scares. However the tour guide was funny although at point it felt like a recital.
For a tenner each I wasn’t expecting much however the fam-lam seemed happy and it killed an hour before dinner.
