Great night to make new friends - The conversations were amazing and instant friendships were made. The teacher was kind and patient with all the side conversations and very knowledgeable about the practice of making the perogis. The shots of various types of homemade liquor were great and a lovely addition to the night.

Authentic, Delicious Food Experience - Cezar took us on an authentic food experience. We would never have tried what he chose or found the venues he took us to. We were genuinely surprised by the variety and loved the afternoon. Would recommend to friends.

Avoid This Tour - Similar to the other reviews, this was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. It was so disorganised. The guide really didn’t know what he was doing. It went on for hours. The guide didn’t speak to us about what we were eating or speak about the venue. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward situation, made worse by the fact that I had paid for it. Go with Viator if you want a food tour

Disorganized and not worth it. - This trip was very disorganized. It was supposed to be 3 hours… it was 4.5 and that was with us cutting it short. The restaurants were not prepared for us, the seating was all spread out, we were not told what was going on or what we were passing unless we asked. it was just not a great experience. The other people on the tour were wonderful and they were the only reason I didn’t just sneak out early.

Disorganized - The tour was disorganized. The guide didn’t know what food was at each stop. One stop didn’t have enough seats for everyone. It was supposed to be 3 hours but took 4.5 hours. Several people left before the tour was over.

Guide literally yelled at me when I showed him the ticket stating I had purchased a vegetarian tour…then refused to - Don’t bother! Complete misrepresentation and false advertising. It was listed as a vegetarian tour…which is why I booked it…because I figured finding vegetarian Polish food would be hard to do on my own. Show up at the first place and trays of meat and pork were delivered and the one pierogi I got was served alongside the meat. When I asked the guide when the vegetarian options would be out, he actually scolded me and got really huffy and said no one told him I was vegetarian. I pulled up the ticket to show him the description…pointing to where it said “vegetarian”. He got mad at me and said it was too bad and that I just “needed to get over it and eat a little meat this one time.” Not even kidding you…the carnivores in the group were staring at him slack jawed. We get to the next restaurant, and they had not prepared the food in advance. So, he ordered when we got there and we waited an hour to be served. HE DID NOT ORDER ONE SINGLE VEGETARIAN OPTION FOR ME, AND WHEN I TURNED DOWN THE MEAT SERVICE, THE WAITER WAS SHIVKED AND SAID HE HAD NO IDEA THAT THERE WERENT ANY VEGETARIAN OPTIONS. The WAITER talked to the chef on my behalf and had them whip up some veggie pierogies for me. The wait staff took care of me…the tour guide purposefully would not. Our group of 20 people spent so long waiting for service at place number 2 that by the time we got to the 3rd place…our 3 hours was up. Again, he didn’t order or plan in advance, so we waited another 20 minutes for service in a sweltering restaurant. He had the audacity to set next to me at this restaurant and chide me again for not eating meat and told me to just eat a little bit. By the end of the 3rd restaurant, I had 1 pierogi, shredded carrots, and mushroom pieroggi that the waiter got for me. Final stop was 30 minutes after our tour was supposed to be over…get to the dessert place, and once again had to wait for 30 minutes to get served our apple pie and liqueur shot. Guide left while we were all still waiting to get our dessert and we didn’t see him again. But, he made sure to give every single person his own private business card for his private tour offerings. People were literally handing them back to him like…no way…not after the way you have treated me. So…I dropped $90 to eat a few pierogis, about 4 carrots and an apple pie crumble. Not only did I go home hungry and have to order room service, but I get yelled at and ignored for providing the WRITTEN PROOF that it was not at all what I paid for as not even close to how it is advertised. I plan on reaching out for a refund…literally ALL 19 other people on the tour were telling me that I should demand a refund. Total shame because Warsaw was lovely, and the walking portion was pleasant. Just absolutely terrible guide.

Don’t waste your money! - I could never recommend this tour to anyone, it was not a fun experience. Right off the bat our tour guide lectured us about how it’s not a vegetarian tour and that we need to respond when he calls us (we had no idea anyone was calling us.) Our guide was very abrupt and did not have the type of demeanor for this kind of tour. You would be so much better off going to old town and just trying different foods there. Instead of this cost it would cost about $30 for a whole family.

Poorly organized, hot mess - I had high hopes for this tour, but from the start it seemed doomed. There were 15 of us on this tour but it seems the restaurants we visited were either not expecting us or thought we were a much smaller group. I had signed up as a vegetarian, but the tour guide was completely unaware and said no one told him. The service was very slow. Our tour guide was often absent and we had little to no explanation about food or culture or anything else you might hope for on a food tour in a foreign city. As a result after 2 1/2 hours and visiting 3 establishments, my total consumption included a small piece of pickled herring, a slice of bread, a small shot of vodka, some beet soup and a 1/4 of one pierogi. It was so bad that different group members were educating others by reading off of Google about different foods, etc. I’m not sure what the deal was with our tour guide, but he really didn’t have the personality for this kind of event. We bailed after 2 1/2 hours because we felt our time was being wasted. We weren’t learning anything and we certainly weren’t eating. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone. The tour guide seemed exasperated and overwhelmed, and did understand that things were going south, but said it was not his fault -that the tour operator was badly organized. Well we agree.
