- Jiufen Old Street - Our final stop is the picturesque town of Jiufen. Nestled on a mountainside, Jiufen offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The town’s main street hosts a market where we can taste local treats like pineapple cakes and rice paste meatloaf, and visit artisan workshops and shops. Jiufen is renowned for its traditional tea houses hidden in winding alleys and the red lanterns that adorn its streets, giving the town a unique charm.
In addition to wandering through the alleys, shops, and enjoying the spectacular views, we’ll also have the chance to dine at one of the famous teahouses, which offer privileged views of the coast and surrounding mountains, enhancing the enchanting atmosphere of this village.

Smooth and enjoyable tour - Our family had a perfect private tour with Samuel. He picked us up just as planned and made sure we had a great day. Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen are all popular tourist destinations and Samuel was well informed and navigated everything so we could just relax and enjoy what we were seeing. He was happy to adjust the plan a bit for us and we also got some really great pictures! Don’t hesitate to book this, and I think extra cost of a private tour is well worth it for these sites.

How to Become a Child Again - We had high expectations on this tour, but they have been exceeded. Thank you for taking us to everything we wanted to see and filling us with the memories of amazing surprises and stories. 100% recommended and if I could in a few years I would repeat it without hesitation <3

Go private for sure!!! - Got us to the right places at the right times and no hanging around for others. Just for parking in the right places and the restaurant booking it was worth the extra of a private tour.
Geo Park, waterfall and Jiufen (sp?) all good and all different. Train St was a nice additional stop.

What a great start for... - What a great start for our first couple days in Taipei. Danny was so efficient, having contacted us several days in advance to reconfirm. Arrival prompt, car clean and comfortable, and his English was great. He took us to each location, gave us a primer and then left us to explore on our own, which is our preference.
If you have the time, these 3 stops are definitely worth seeing. I definitely recommend this company.

Taiwan familiarisation tour. - Cristian was amazing, as we were in Taiwan for business, we really wanted to get a feel for the country and people. Cristian avoided the crowds, was generous with his time and even diverted a little to show us some hidden gems.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience! - Christian was insightful, attentive, entertaining and informative throughout the entire tour. He was careful to explain cultural understanding of the locations we were visiting, historical contexts and giving us an insight into the people of Taiwan, their traditions and daily life. All of the locations were thoroughly enjoyable and varied. The lunch experience, with the tea ceremony was a highlight overseeing the sights of Taiwan. Would highly recommend.

Excellent! Can't wait for next visit and tour! - I had the pleasure of going on a private day trip to Jiufen and Yehliu Park with my colleagues, and I can honestly say that it was an incredible experience, largely thanks to our guide, Cristian. From the moment we met, he was not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable.
Cristian made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire trip and shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and landmarks we visited. Each stop — whether it was the charming streets of Jiufen, or the village where we did our lanterns or the breathtaking rock formations at Yehliu Park — felt like a unique adventure, and Cristian's expertise made each location come to life in a way we wouldn't have experienced on our own.
He was also attentive and caring, ensuring that we had everything we needed and making the trip feel personal and tailored to our group's interests.
I highly recommend this private day trip, especially if you’re fortunate enough to have Cristian as your guide. He made the experience truly special, and I can't wait to return for another adventure!

A great day in north east Taiwan. - The day trip to Jiufen, Shifen and Yehliu park was excellent. The lunch at the tea house had the most spectacular view of Jiufen. .Our tour guide Christain was very knowledgeable and friendly. We spend the day talking about local culture and other places to visit. Being a private tour we could go at our own pace as well.

Excursion from Taipei - It has been an excursion that we loved, the villages we have visited are super nice and Cristian knows all the tricks to make the excursion perfect, we recommend Cristian 100% if you want to visit Taiwan, it has been everything perfect and has taught us many things about the areas we visit.
