Amazing experience - 1000% recommend this tour! JP was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. We had an amazing time on the dunes, and it was lovely seeing the seal colony as well. The tour included delicious food and plenty of drinks. Felt completely safe on the dunes, JP navigated them like a pro. Had an absolute blast.

Amazing ocean and desert combo tour - The tour was absolutely incredibile, one of the best activity we did in Namibia. The boat tour was very well done, we saw a lot of sea animals including whales (we were very lucky) and the crew was very friendly and professional, gave a lot of info about the ocean animals and offered us a great lunch on board. In the afternoon we did the 4x4 drive in the dunes till Sandwich Harbour including a visit to the lagoon of Walvis Bay where you can see a lot of pelicans and also the salt refinery. The ride in the dunes where the Namib desert meets the Atlantic was spectacular and the landscape breathtaking, did not let down our expectations. Our guide JP was the best and we spent a wonderful afternoon together. Absolutely recommended!

Perfect - Book without hesitation - We spent the day with JP and couldn't have chosen a better guide for our stop in Walvis Bay. JP is an enthusiast who loves sharing the desert with his guests. He gave us many geological and zoological details and was very attentive to our expectations. The tour is perfectly organized, allows you to discover varied spots and animals, while taking your time. What a memorable day with JP@ Red Dune Safaris!! - In March 2023, our cruise ship stopped in Walvis Bay. We joined a group of fellow travellers on Red Dune Safaris’ Moon Landscape and Welwitschia tour. It was a wonderful experience. This year, when our cruise ship was rerouted through Walvis Bay, we decided to contact Red Dune Safaris again. JP answered our emails and enquiries promptly; we ended up booking a ‘bespoke’ tour to Sandwich Harbour and Pelican Point. Our private tour with JP turned out to be one of the top 3 highlights of the 2024 Grand World Voyage. JP shares his wealth of knowledge about the Namib-Naukluft National Park in an easy going, interesting manner; his driving skill inspired complete confidence throughout the exhilarating rides across the beach and up/over the dunes. As photographers/videographers, we were thrilled that JP shared our passion; he tailored the tour to accommodate the best lighting conditions and viewpoints. Best tour to Sandwich Harbour - Therre were a few options available for this tour but so glad we booked this one with J.P. We had an amazing day, J.P. gave lots of information and explanations about the area, plants animals etc. Lots of time for photos. The vehicle was very comfortable and JP is a great driver. Delicious picnic lunch. Would definitely recommend booking this tour!

One of the two highlights of our Namibian adventure. THANK YOU JP!! - JP is a "grandmaster chess player" when it comes to getting you safely to STUNNING places in the desert! I have been in extreme sports all my life and I know what JP was up against in these dunes as high as mountains. This guy is a world class guide. Professional, easy-going, never relaxing but you will never know it. If you ever skied down a couloir ... and you see this guy doing it SAFELY in a car ... then you would know what I am talking about. I saw other cars got stuck where JP just sailed by. THIS DOES NOT JUST HAPPEN! He is confident but always very calculating. Even in tense and intense moments, while you do not know how he is doing it, your seat is telling you that you are very stable and safe. Booking was easy, he was very attentive to our ideas. Without any pressure he explained what is doable and what not. When he gives you an assessment then he just tells you how the facts are going to line up. How you personally feel about it - that is your problem. When we got there i SAW why some things were not doable. We felt the entire time as if we are his only clients in the world. The views we saw were breathtaking! Tip to travelers: SLOOOOW DOOOWN. Reduce the number of points you are going to see then just soak in the moment at each one.

Unique Photo Adventure - I took a Sandwich Harbour Photo tour (full day) with Red Dune Safaris Namibia and had a wonderful experience. JP was extremely nice and helpful. He facilitated my photo activities in an incredible way. He also showed me unexpected and marvelous aspects of the Namib desert.
