- Walvis Bay Waterfront - Walvis Bay, Namibia’s primary seaport, is situated between the mouths of the Swakop and Kuiseb rivers along the Atlantic Ocean. To the south of Walvis Bay lies a vast lagoon that attracts tens of thousands of birds, including numerous flamingos. The lagoon, salt pans, and bird sanctuary that make up the Walvis Bay Wetlands are among the most significant coastal wetlands in southern Africa. Over 150,000 migratory birds spend the summer months in Walvis Bay, with non-breeding Palearctic and intra-African species being predominant. More than 150 bird species have been recorded in this area, including the Greater Flamingo, Lesser Flamingo, Great White Pelican, Chestnut-banded Plover, African Oystercatcher, Cape Teal, and Black-necked Grebe. Additionally, European and northern Siberian migrants, traveling between 10,000 and 14,000 kilometers, visit Walvis Bay annually. These long-distance travelers include the Curlew Sandpiper, Sanderling, Grey Plover, and Ruddy Turnstone.

We had a safe feeling during the trip, very flexible and always looking for the best experience for us as a family of 4! It was a breathtaking experience with amazings views!! Food was delicious!

Sand Dunes - Great tour with this company!
We had limited time with the cruise ship but wanted to make sure we saw the sand dunes. They took us around efficiently and made sure we seen everything to offer. English speaking & also told us a lot about the country. Great trip & would recommend again!

Great excursion! - CJ and Azaan were both amazing. We had a fantastic time. They made sure that the drive was comfortable for my husband since he gets motion sick. They made several stops so that we can get great pictures. The snacks and drinks were very good as well. They were both very friendly and personable. They picked us up at the cruise port and made sure we were back in time. We had an amazing excursion for half the price of the ship excursions!

Highly recommended! - We found MNG at the cruise port. Azan introduced himself and gave a description of the tours available and prices. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and his prices were very competitive. He introduced us to CJ who took us on the tour. CJ was fabulous, very polite, and explained most of the things we went to see, including pink flamingo's, pink lake, Dune 7 and Swakopmund. He stopped as we requested for photo's and we saw more than any of the ship tours offered at a fraction of the price. On our return, Azan, at our request, took us the the shopping mall, and returned us back to the port on time. We had a fabulous time, and both Azan and CJ are really nice and trustworthy people. We highly recommend MNG Tours!

Good service, pleasant guides and exciting experiences. We got to experience both the desert, the coastline and fantastic bird life - A rich day trip where we got to see both great nature and wildlife. The guide was knowledgeable and we got good information. A great experience that we can recommend to others.
