Stepping out of our comfort zone - Had a fantastic morning in the gorge on the estate, despite being shattered from climbing snowdon the day before. Challenged ourselves with jumping off rocks into black pools of water…. Shimming through rocks into mini caves. All out of our comfort zone but so worth doing. The natural beauty of the surroundings was lovely too xx the only thing was I wish we had been able to take a phone and been told we would need a waterproof holder .

Exhilarating! - We had such a fabulous time and so happy that we were able to do this gorge walk. Sliding down rocks, a little swimming and, best of all, jumping into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. Exhilarating! Our group leader was brilliant, thank you for a great experience.

Walking in a gorge, scrabbling, jumping into pools and ‘squeezing’! - This was a fantastic experience and our guide Ruby was very knowledgeable and helped us feel safe -our teenage girls loved it, as did my husband and I!

Gorge walking (white water active) - We all really enjoyed the gorge walking, it was fun and exciting, the boys really enjoyed all of it, if you like getting wet and enjoy a challenge. Phil was a really good instructor and he made a good experience even better, he related well with the whole family and was especially good with the our boys. Highly recommend.

Great fun - We had a great morning exploring the river on our gorge walk. Rob and Hannah were great guides, making sure that we had loads of fun splashing in the pools and waterfalls. We would definitely recommend this.

Do it even if you think it’s not the usual you ! - The best thing I ever did in my life! Instructor chilled / very experienced and makes you feel assured. It’s not that cold only when you’re in the deeper water momentarily. Exhilarating .

Gorge Walking fun! - The gorge walking was fun. We enjoyed the jump and the slides at the end. Personally I don't think the session is long enough to get everything in. It felt a little rushed. It was great the instructors took us out the gorge at one point to get to the jumps and slides quicker to enjoy the fun parts but I think this is also a shame as going through the water is what it's all about. I also think it would be good to be able to slide and jump more than once (although the children did go twice on the jump) but I felt like the time was a major issue. With driving to the start point, parking and getting wetsuits on etc which takes 20 to 30 minutes even with just 9 people in the group, I feel like the session is then a little rushed which is a shame as people move at different times and struggle in different ways. It would have been better to meet earlier and be ready to go at 9:30 so there was a clear 90 minutes or more to really enjoy the gorge. Saying this kids now want to do another more extreme one so that's a bonus that they found their confidence in this one. Staff were friendly and attentive and really helpful at all times so thank you. I'd definitely book other activities through this company because of this.
