- Vouliagmeni Beach - Our private tour starts with the crossing of the Athens golden coastal road, named Poseidonos Av. First stop is at the luxurious place of Laimos of Vouliagmeni where you shall have the opportunity to admire a marvelous beach & to take photos with the background of the Saronic Gulf.
- Lake Vouliagmeni - Next stop is at the unique Lake of Vouliagmeni. Due to its outstanding surroundings & its natural location the Lake of Vouliagmeni is an important Natural Monument. In accordance to scientific research the lake was formed by geological changes millions of years ago.
- Temple of Poseidon - The tour continues with driving via Varkiza (passing through an old rocky tunnel), Saronida, Fokaia (traditional fishing village) until the southern end of Attika named Cape of Sounion. You will visit the ruins in the archaeological area where the Temple of Poseidon (God of the Sea) dominates. The place allows you to admire the deep blue of the Aegean sea, to enjoy one of the best romantic sunsets & to take unique photos. Our private tour concludes with the return to the starting point in Athens.

Excellent driver Michael made all the difference! - My adult son and I wanted to see the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. It was a big item on our list of things to see while in Greece. We travelled from Ottawa, Canada. Our driver Michael was prompt, friendly and very professional. He gave us a lot of information along the way about the history of the country and the sites we passed. He stopped at an excellent spot for us to take photos before even arriving at the Temple of Poseidon. He waited patiently for us to see the sites we were interested in and even while we had a quick drink afterwards at the onsite restaurant. We never felt rushed and always felt safe with his driving skills. He was a very enjoyable guide and driver to have and we felt very fortunate. We intended to contact the company to ask for him specifically to pick us up at the port when we arrived back in Athens after travelling for two weeks, but we ended up flying into Athens airport instead of taking a ferry and caught our flight 2 hours later. I hope the company rewards employees like Michael because he is an asset and is the person who is out there with the clients doing great business and providing excellent customer service. Will recommend the company and Michael specifically to friends who are going to Greece.

The lookout of the two seas - Giorgos was such a magnificent guide and he took us to the most fascinating place! This location is a surreal mix of the beautiful ocean and the god who presided over it. You really get lost in the mystery of it all. Highly recommend it! Thank you for a memorable evening :)!

Beautiful Sunset and a nice Splash at the Aegean Sea - Hired this ½ day trip with the family and enjoyed an excellent afternoon. Our driver (Giorgos) gave us interesting information about the different places and good tips about accessing the archeological site. He made sure the experience was enjoyable and provided a safe ride. The transport was comfortable and in impecable condition. Will use them again. Highly recommended

Informative and safe tour - John was not felling well (Hope he is better now) and Michael was our guide. We had a great time. Michael was very informative and accommodating. His driving was excellent, smooth and non eventful. The sights were beautiful and we even stopped for dinner at a local restaurant where we had fresh caught fish. The ride back to the hotel seemed longer than the ride down to Sounion but that only proves what a great time we had. We arrived at the hotel safely and look forward to our return. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE JG ATHENS TOURS AGAIN AND AGAIN. Have already told many friends about this experience. I believe a couple have already booked tours

The BEST car service and private tours in Athens! - We have used JG Athens every time we are in town. John and all of his drivers are extremely punctual, friendly, and full of interesting information. John replies to messages quickly and makes sure that everything is perfect for your trip. This time, JG Athens provided car transportation from the airport and to the port and we did the sunset tour to Poseidon Temple. Apostolis, our driver and guide, gave us lots of history and we were so glad to be able to spend time with him. Excellent driving (that I didn't have to do while on vacation which is a huge treat for me!) and lots of information along the way. It is a long drive but the sunset was gorgeous. We highly recommend (ie, insist) that all of our friends and relatives use JG Athens and they feel the same way that we do. Thank you SO much, John. We will see you again, hopefully soon!

Informative, funny and knowledgeable. Would book every tour through him when we come back! - Best tour possible! Fantastic information. John is a wonderful tour guide, speaks great English, and very proud of Greece. We had so much info given to us. The area was beautiful. He told us all about The Gods and explained things so easily. Answered all of our question too. Do yourself a favor and book with JG Athens Tours.

Temple of Poseidon/Vouliagmeni Lake/Athens airport pickup - We really enjoyed the experience and the drive from Athens airport to Lake Vouliagmeni and along the coast to the Aegean Sea to the Temple of Poseidon including a drop off to our hotel on Athens afterwards. It makes sense if you want to see these sights and not have to rent a car. The driver was personable, English speaking, and told interesting stories with historical facts including showing videos of the history of Greece and the Acropolis, etc. Overall we had a great time and I recommend.

Nice experience - Great vehicle with WiFi availability. They even arranged for a car seat for our toddler which was great!
Driver was very friendly and stopped At a few places so we could take pictures. I would recommend this company for tours in Athens!
