Visitors tend to spend anywhere from one to five hours here. You are encouraged to plan on spending the whole day so you can enjoy all of the exhibits at a comfortable pace. However, you do not need much time to appreciate this inspiring history of the auto industry.

Very fun and worthwhile museum to visit; especially if you love cars! - So much to see at this museum. Very well laid out. Much more than just cars. Jurassic Gardens, Military Combat Zone, Torture Museum, Titanic and more. Different pricing depending on what you want to see. We'll worth it.

Volo museum you have to go - Our family had a great time, it was easy to get around all the cars even in a wheelchair! It was well laid out

With my plus one be a... - With my plus one be a MAJOR CLASSIC CAR ENTHUSIAST he was like a kid in a candy story!!!! It took us an hour and a half both ways from Downtown Chicago but it was totally worth it. Highly recommended

Wonderful Day! - What a wonderful day! There are so many vintage cars to browse through. I enjoyed looking in each of them and remembering what riding in cars decades ago was like. The movie and tv series cars such as the Simpsons’ car, and cars from Miami Vice, Back to the Future, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Ghostbusters were all so cool and brought back wonderful memories of the 1980’s. Other vintage exhibits included advertisements from the 1950’s and 1960’s, carousels, an amusement park ride from Kiddy Land, Disney characters, and games. The camping RVs/trailers were also cool. All staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming. I could not ask for a better day!

More than cars, History never to relive sgain... - Be prepared, you'll never what you're going to see there. Even met Lisa, the owners wife, helping the staff in BBQ & gift shop. Great day for us..

Great automobile collection - Great thing to see, the batmobile, the car from ghostbusters and many more from famous movies. Also restaured cars which are for sale. This place is so big, you could spent the entire day here. There is also an antique and collectable part which has a good quality level of items. The entire park is very suitable for children. There is also a cafetaria for food and drinks.

Classic car centric, but... - Classic car centric, but lots of other old stuff too. You won't be disappointed if you like cars from movies. The place was clean. Exhibits were spread out over a number of buildings, so there is some outside walking. Recommend watching the video in the small theaters (one before getting to building #1 and another at the beginning of building #4). The films give you some insight into what you are going to see.

Fun for all ages - I thought this place was going to be super kitschy and it was, but in the best way. The cars were gorgeous, all shiny in every color imaginable. The cars were the best part but they also had RVs, trains, tractors, gas powered bikes, etc. Plan to spend at least half a day. Bring your own food and enjoy the park next door. I wish there was a little more information about the cars and I would have loved to have seen where the cars were restored.
