- Stinson Vineyards - Relax at a private table overlooking the vineyards and learn from the guide about traditional wine-making methods. Enjoy a hearty snack, entirely sourced from local Central Virginia producers.
- Free Union - Embark on the second cycling segment: classic Virginia countryside roads, surrounded by historic estates and picturesque pastoral landscapes. Distance: 13 miles.
- Oakencroft Winery - Indulge in a generous lunch of healthy, local cuisine (more than just a charcuterie board!). Complement the meal with bottles of sustainably-grown white, rosé, and red wines. During lunch, the guide will share captivating stories about the history and future of grape growing and agriculture. Afterward, enjoy a guided walk alongside sheep and cattle, discussing ecological agriculture in a winery setting.
- Crozet - Conclude a fantastic day! Participants will be returned to their cars by 3:30, allowing time to visit another winery if desired. Those who used Uber/Lyft/etc. to reach the starting point can enjoy a complimentary shuttle back to their accommodations in downtown Charlottesville.
