- Julienas - A popular cru of Beaujolais, we’ll stop in an old church urned into a wine cellar where we’ll have a drink with local wine growers
- Mont Brouilly - Famour for its hill and for hosting the Tour de France on a regular basis, we’ll take a look at this cru which is the most popular of Beaujolais region
- Domaine de la Madone - Weather allowing we’ll have lunch in the middle of the vine, expect a barbecue or a picnic (to be discussed)
- Regnie-Durette - We’ll stop to visit a 12th century chapel that was saved from destruction in the 80’s when paintings were found on its wall behind plaster coverage.
- Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais - A 5th century abbey built by the Cluny order which had a massive influence over Europe. Beautifully preserved, there’s a good chance we’ll have the place to ourselves!
- Chateau de Nervers - A castle built by an eccentric owner and with quite the story
- Fleurie - Lunch will either be in a Michelin star restaurant or a barbecue in the middle of the vines, weather allowing

Leaving from Lyon or Villefranche/Saône (ask us about an optional transfer), we’ll take you through the best of what Beaujolais has to offer: private medieval castles, wineries, local craftsmen, local producers (honey, cheese, cold cuts, truffles, etc.). Beaujolais has 10 crus (top wines); we can cover most of them in that full day.

Beaujolais has 10 crus (top wines); we can cover most of them in that full day.
Lunch will either be in a Michelin-starred restaurant or on a picnic we’ll set up in the vineyards. We focus on what we love, which is usually food, wine, anecdotes, history, architecture, and landscapes.
We’ll stop in a vineyard to open a few bottles of wine and taste local cold cuts and cheese with a gorgeous view of the region.
All our rides are private and tailor-made, so we’ll happily adjust the above to your centers of interest.
