Amazing Night - This trip was recommended to me by the e bike tour company Fuertexpr and I am glad they did. Karen is very nice and the meeting point is easy to find. It was a nice hike to watch the sunset and along the way Karen explained a lot of local things. She had lots of knowledge. The sunset was spectacular and it goes down quickly but so lovely. Then we walked back to see the moon rise and the stars come out. This is where Karen’s knowledge really shines. She is so good at pointing out the stars and planets and we were so lucky with a clear night. We saw Venus Jupiter Mars and Saturn. We also lots of stars that Karen named but I can’t remember many other than the North Star and Sirius. It was great night and I highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous and awe inspiring hike in small group with knowledgeable guide. Not to be missed! - We had been recommended this organisations hikes by a friend and were delighted to find space at short notice online as it was the full moon and a super moon. Met up at a meeting point and drove a short distance to where the hike starts below a volcano. Hike not strenuous at all but ground is quite uneven over the lava and you have to look down to make sure you don’t trip. It’s never very steep. Karen was our guide and I cannot praise her highly enough for her knowledge and enthusiasm and for making the whole experience so magical. Interestingly the moon rose before the sun set so we opted to watch the sunset over the water on the west coast then hike back a bit to then see the moon and the moonshine over the water on the east coast. The moonshine being a super moon ( a beaver moon this time) was super bright illuminating the volcano behind us. Venus as seen on the left side of the last picture was also very bright. We saw many satellites traversing the sky including the ISS which happened to be passing over the Atlantic . Obviously, with such bright moonlight you can do as much stargazing as you simply cannot see them, but Karen was still able to point out many planets and constellations. Overall an experience not to be missed.

Definitely recommend! - Definitely 5 out of 5. The communication of these guys is amazing, our walk got rescheduled because of the weather which fully made sense, so I'd recommend booking for the start of your trip to allow for rearranging. We had Karen and Subina and they were extremely knowledgeable, explaining many things in multiple languages, as well as answering any questions. The walk itself was amazing, very beautiful sunset. Because of the date change, we didn't see the moon rise but enjoyed some star seeing and star facts on the walk back, which I loved! Karen also hugely helped us with transport advice and was very understanding and knowledgeable about this.
