Upon arrival, you can choose to remain at 1900 meters or take a cable car to 2300 meters and continue to 2900 meters with the moon bus. At the summit, an alpine guide or volcanologist will greet you and lead a guided tour around the crater of the majestic Mother Etna. You’ll have the chance to witness the latest lava flows and the Silvestri craters, two volcanic cones formed during the 1892 eruption.
