- Archipelago Resort - The ride starts on the beach with a medium to full tide and is an absolute favourite. With our unique hands-on interaction, you will lead your horse into the shallow waters where our horses love to splash and wallow, there is always a sense of excitement as they thrash the water, then lay down to roll.
There is time for pictures before mounting up on a second horse bareback, then wading chest deep into the blue turquoise seas on our Ocean Walk. You will meander along the coastline looking out at colourful dhows and sandy beaches.
Ride Time: 15-25 minutes minutes bareback.
Playtime: 15-20 minutes on the beach with horses on a lead wallowing and rolling in the water.

We are home to over 40 horses, the majority of whom were saved from the farms in Zimbabwe during the peak of political unrest, a saga captured in the globally acclaimed novel ‘One Hundred & Four Horses’. Over the past years, we expanded our family with more horses and recently incorporated a group of SA Boerperds. Our horses are excellently trained with poised dispositions.
