It's always good to know! - For those who want to know a bit about wine, this experience illustrates the whole origin of wine, from: - various soil types for vineyard cultivation, sun exposure and microclimate, - Various types of grapes, grafts, arrangement of the vineyards, pruning types, - vindima, how to make white and red wines, etc. The simple opening of a bottle has behind it a panoplie of human activity, where nature takes precedence over everything.

Unexpectedly delightful - We didn’t know about the Cultural district before going to Porto. We found out about it from our concierge and discovered the wine museum, the chocolate factory and the cork museum. All were extremely educational and interesting. We visited all three museums over two days. At the end of the wine museum and chocolate factory we participated in tastings. I highly recommend these museums to anyone visiting Porto!

Best museum I've ever been to! - It was without a doubt the best museum I have ever visited! The space is very well structured, with several interactive activities that make learning about the wine light and engaging. I recommend going with plenty of time and disposition, as the visit can easily take 2 to 3 hours — and is worth every minute. The wine tasting experience was one of the highlights: complete, with optimal duration and conducted impeccably. A special thanks to John, who managed to guide the experience in two languages simultaneously, making everything even more special. It is very worth including in the script and go rested to get the most out of it. Amazing!

Interesting - This was a very interesting museum with some great history of the production and arrival of port to this side of the river. It was lovely and quiet when we visited so we had plenty of time to enjoy the museum and savour the tastings afterwards.

WOW District Wine Experience - The exhibition was interesting and well-structured, offering a lot of valuable insights. The wine tasting at the end was fine, though it felt a bit like mass processing and was presented by a staff member who came across as rather arrogant. That said, we would still recommend visiting the exhibition

Great museum - Really enjoyed all the features representing the wine making process. A few nice interactive parts and visually fantastic. I enjoyed the fun cartoon characters representing each type of grape and the information about the different areas Portugal. Tasting part at the end was OK.

Moderate tour. Bad wine tasting. - The Tour itself was ok. But not really worth the money. The “tasting” at the end was a mockery. 30 men crammed into a room where there are already 2 wines ready on a standing table. If you'll just tap it in quickly. And oh yes there will be a quick notification of how to taste. The wines weren't good. But that can be taste of course. Then you get another port. It'll have to go in your white wine glass. Why not neatly place a new glass with it. Incidentally, if you combine this with the taylor tour. You will also be served the same port. This one was good. Not recommended.
