Fantastic Guide and Great Food Adventure - G was a fabulous host and guide—knowledgeable about port, wine, food, and local history. The port wine tour was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and the food was both delicious and authentic. The whole experience felt personal, engaging, and fun. I would absolutely recommend it, and we’ll definitely book another Eating Europe tour!

Experience Porto, live in the moment - An unforgettable day in Porto with Diogo! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we met Diogo, we knew we were in for something special. Instead of sticking to the typical tourist route, he took us to hidden corners of Porto that we never would have found on our own—quiet alleys, charming cafés, and breathtaking viewpoints. His deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and everyday life made every stop come alive. What made the day truly unforgettable was how Diogo made us feel like locals. We weren’t just seeing Porto, we were experiencing it—sharing laughs, stories, and insider tips that only someone with true passion for their city could offer. If you want to see the real Porto and leave with memories you’ll treasure forever, Diogo is the guide you need. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

Superb tour, highly recommended. - My wife and I had a personal tour with Diogo R. (This costs around £250.) Visiting multiple, local and authentic places - away from the touristy areas. From patisseries, restaurants and even a local shop - with a small restaurant inside too - quite a unique experience. The highlight was the personal tour of Real Companhia Velha Port House and getting to try the fantastic ports on offer - especially the 20 Year Tawny. (Diogo R used to work here too, so he gave us further insight into the port making process and was able to show us ports, over 200 years old - including a bottle made in 1700's, which you wouldn't get to see on a standard tour.) Diogo R was really knowledgeable and friendly throughout, giving us a great insight into authentic Portuguese food and drink. We would highly recommend!

An amazing trip - a must when in Porto. - What a wonderful day. From start to finish this tour was amazing. Goncalo, our guide was excellent, fluent English, funny and so knowledgeable. The food and port wine were really good and the day flowed so well. We met 5 lovely ladies from New York and very much enjoyed getting to know them as well as G. He read the room perfectly and allowed us time to chat over our food and wine which was lovely. We did not finish the tour until gone 3pm. A perfect day and worth every penny. Thank you G Dave and Ali xxx
