Lovely glacier walk - Lovey trip. Our guide Edgar was informative, friendly and gave us opportunities to get great pictures. See the glaciers now before they melt :-(

Great glacier hike with understanding, accommodating staffers - We did the three-hour Solheimajokull glacier tour with Troll and had a great time. Let me start by saying we were 10 minutes late for our tour. We were stressed about that and felt terrible, and sure enough our tour had left when we arrived. That was bad for us but in general I like tours that leave on time! Anyway, the remaining staffer called the tour guide and they arranged for the first staffer to outfit us quickly and then take us to a spot where we could meet our guide. We want to thank Troll for the understanding and accommodation. We felt badly being late, and would have felt awful if we had missed out on this experience. We were grateful that this worked out. The glacier tour is super fun. If you think this is just a sheet of ice, it's not. There are all kinds of interesting features, blue ice, fissures, little waterfalls on the side, and lots of history to learn about. We would highly recommend this experience, in particular with Troll.

Glacier Hike - Awesome and Unforgettable Experience! - The Glacier Hike was amazing - so much natural beauty! Tomas was a terrific guide assisting the group and ensuring everyone was safe. Tomas was informative, caring, friendly, and Fun! My brother lost his wallet when he was taking off his jacket, and Tomas contacted him and ensured a safe return of his wallet intact! Service above and beyond! The hike was somewhat challenging for us (we are seniors), but I highly recommend the tour and Troll Expeditions!

Amazing Experience with Edgar! - Had a fantastic hike with Edgar! He was so kind and shared his deep knowledge with us about the glacier with his great humor and our whole group ended the hike with chocolate in hand and high spirits! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Hike difficulty was moderate for someone who doesn’t hike much, but was definitely worth it. Edgar was sure to keep our group together and kept us at a comfortable pace for everyone. Be sure to bring warm clothes and comfortable hiking shoes with ankle support (or rent them at the tour).

Amazing glacier, perfect guide - Really enjoyed the hike, was pretty amazing being able to walk on the glacier and learning about the things we encountered along the way. In my opinion, the first hike of the day is also the best one, there are a few people around and non noise, except your feet walking with crampons. Lastly, I wanted to thank our guide, Edgard. He has been amazing, really available, very well prepared on the history of the glacier. My group of friends and I really enjoyed the hike because of Edgard, too!!

Unforgettable Experience - Our guide was very professional and informative. He made sure that all of us were geared up properly and knew safety protocols. I felt safe and excited. A once in a lifetime experience. Our guide was very much an environmentalist, and stressed that the future of glaciers was in our hands. The evident glacial shrinking was both depressing and motivating.

Absolutely phenomenal!... - Absolutely phenomenal! This was our first time to ever even see a glacier let alone hike on one! It was surreal. The dusting of volcanic ash made it come alive even more. We loved our tour guide Wojtec! He was crystal clear about safety precautions , patient and helpful with the equipment, fun with the photo ops and very knowledgeable about the geologic processes. The day will be our most memorable experience from this trip .

Glacier climbing - Had a great 3 hr glacier hike and climb with Troll and Kevin as our guide, the place is amazing with great views. After safety briefing and explaining how to walk with cramp ons. Our guide was funny, knowledgable amd made the experience great for me and my partner, definitely recommend

Tons of Fun - Went on the 3 hour guided tour. Our guide was great. He was knowledgeable about the glacier and it felt very safe at all times. At one point he attached a rope to our harnesses and let us stand on the edge of a giant hole in the ice. It was super cool and one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Great you’re beautiful glacier, amazing guide (Edgar’s) - We had a fantastic tour. The glacier was incredibly beautiful and the tour guide EDGARS was amazing. He was very informative, safe, and kept pace with the slowest of the group - definitely made the tour better! The hike was moderate and despite the rainy weather, we all had a good time.
