Equip yourself with your hiking gear and prepare for an exciting journey as we are about to explore the Sólheimajökull glacier in southern Iceland, in a small group, within a span of 3 hours. This tour would be an in-depth exploration of glaciers wherein your guide will enlighten you about these enormous occurrences in nature. All the required equipment for a safe and comfortable adventure will be provided.

Great guides and amazing views! - This was an amazing experience!!!! We took of two kids, ages 8 and 11 and we all had a wonderful time. Our guide, Tamara, was fantastic! She was super knowledgeable and made the trip fun. It really hit home how fast the glaciers are receding and I am so glad that our children were able to experience this now.

Must do - This was an incredible trip! Walking around on top of a glacier with all of the gear was a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide Barca (sorry I don’t remember the exact Czech spelling) was amazing and made it a super fun experience!!!

Iceland trip highlight - Our tour guide Elena was fantastic, she tailored the tour to our group's ability and gave us a great experience on the glacier. This was a well paced easy-moderate hike. Remember to bring hiking boots, sunscreen and clothes for cold weather (it changes quickly!)

Excellent experience - Excellent tour! We traveled with our 10-year-old boys and had an amazing time. Our tour guide was fantastic. Visiting in early July meant the weather was pleasantly mild. I recommend wearing ankle-high hard boots, which make it easier to apply crampons. Additionally, you can wear a thin hat under your helmet for extra comfort.

Beautiful scenery, a great hike... - A hike across the glacier (or at least a bit of it) was very spectacular and enjoyable. It isn't oo taxing in summer (just plan for rain as it seems very likely in this location). Knowledgeable guide, equipment supplied, scenery abundant.
