One of the best attractions you can visit 🔥 - Had a fantastic evening at the lava show. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Went with the premium package which gets a couple of drinks thrown in, upstairs seating to give a great view of the lava flow, and a short backstage look at the furnace used the create the lava. Really enjoyed it, one of the best attractions you can visit.

Very educational, recommend! - Loved this! Bastion our host was a very knowledgable volcanologist who answered a lot of questions from a very eager audience! It was cool to learn about volcanos and lava. Would recommend!

A must do! - I loved this! Perfect winter activity- you get to learn about and view a natural wonder from the warmth of being indoors. I wouldn’t normally book something like this bc I generally avoid touristy experiences but the reviews were so good that I booked it and I’m so happy I did!
The owner does the demonstration and he is so friendly and passionate ñ, it’s contagious!

Honestly this was a lot... - Honestly this was a lot of fun. Our show was hosted by the founder (in Vik) and it’s really cool to not just see the show but to hear how it started and how it works. Don’t miss the attached restaurant.

A very unique and beautiful experience with special thanks to the team for their kindness - We visited the Lava Show at Vik for my 40th birthday and what a treat it was!! The bar was well stocked and the food menu and prices were great! The show itself was spectacular, and the host was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humour. The show was just mesmerising and something I never thought I’d ever see. It really is a unique and amazing experience for all ages, and a memory that will last a lifetime time!! Highly recommended to everyone visiting Iceland!
Within my review I must include a special thank you to Tom and Luca who work at the Lava Show. When I left after the show I stupidly left behind my hat, snood, gloves and thermal top which my children gave me as a gift to keep me warm on my holiday to Iceland. I contacted the venue within an hour and explained what I had done, by this time the snow was very heavy and it was dark on our drive back to Reykjavik, so we didn’t feel comfortable turning around and driving back. Let me tell you, I initially spoke to Luca on the phone who promised to look for my items and return them to me by post if found, he requested that I emailed over my details and within 5 minutes I had a response to say the items had been found and would be posted to me as soon as possible. This was on 17th December and today 27th December I took delivery of a box containing not only my missing items, but a wonderful piece of cooled lava inside a little gift bag for me to keep which I’ve now displayed in my home. I’ve asked for payment details so I can reimburse the team for the cost of postage, however I am yet to receive a response. I honestly have no words for the customer service experience I have had, and the pure act of kindness of two gentlemen who went above and beyond for a stranger for no personal gain. I am so very grateful to them both and I hope the wonderful service that they have provided and the kindness that they’ve shown me is rewarded in some way. I will be paying forward this act of kindness in their names. Thank you Tom, Luca and the Lava Show team at Vik, what lovely people you are!!

Amazing Show - We were a group of 7 adults with a 4 year old. The show was in three parts. A lecture/discussion, then a video, followed by the pouring of the lava. My nephew was able to sit through all of it quietly. I purchased a piece of lava in adavance and loved that they knew about it when I checked in and immediately told me to pick out a piece. The show was very informative and I loved seeing the lava in action! I would definitely recommend this show. I would go back just to see the lava portion.

A great experience for all - An absolutely amazing experience for both adults and kids. The host (the co-owner)and his assistant behind the scenes were both fab. It was a small audience and so we were able to really get involved and ask questions and then we were all given a piece of lava to take away. Truly fantastic. Highly recommend. We all learned a lot and the passion of those involved was clear!

A great educational experience - We really appreciated the show being educational. We brought our 8yo daughter and she loved seeing the lava and how it reacted to different forces, but also learning about Iceland's geothermal history. Tom was very knowledgeable and knew the science. He answered every question the audience had. We bought the "backstage" tickets to support the show and get a peek at the furnace. They work very hard to deliver a good quality experience.

Amazing! - Our travel agent suggested this event, and we are so glad. It may seem touristy, but is one of the most unique things we have seen. It really is melting lava (they say during the presentation that the rocks were collected from a nearby lava flow). We thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, and were treated to a “behind the scenes” tour to see how they do it, and it was fascinating. Definitely worth the time!

Nice experience - Nice experience to see a kind of lava in real and manipulate by the animator with good explanation and you can ask questions at the exit it's great. Everything is in English so if you don't understand English it's going to be a bit complicated to follow the explanations.
