Worth the money spent!! - Our family of four had a fabulous time on our tour to Katla Glacier/Volcano/Ice Cave today! Oskar, our guide, took us on a short 35 minute beautiful drive to the glacier. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assure we had a great time. He took pictures of us using his phone and sent them all to us via WhatsApp, which was much easier to do than fumbling for our phones at every viewpoint. Highly recommend this tour! Pro Tip: don't forget cash to tip your guide. In most Iceland restaurants its not customary to tip, however for outdoor tour guides 15% is appreciated, but not expected.

Incredible experience - I’ll admit, if you’re at all afraid of heights, this probably isn’t the tour for you. That being said, our guide Gustavo was amazing and took great care of my wife and helped her feel at ease throughout our tour. Overall an incredible and memorable experience!

Absolutely stunning - This trip is one of the most memorable experiences we have had in all our travels. The vistas are stunning with the ice covered by black ash and creates stunning backdrops as it melts. Óskar was an amazing guide, who kept us entertained with stories and information about the glacier. He also took pictures once we were on the glacier of the different families in our group and of the glacier that was later shared on WhatsApp which allowed us to just enjoy the experience. Would highly recommend this trip. And eat lunch at the soup shop that the tour takes off from (which was another good tip from Oskar).

Top Tier Experience, Can’t Miss! - This was absolutely our favorite tour of our entire trip to Iceland. It was super easier to find and start the tour! Gustavo was our guide and he was amazing! He was knowledgeable, funny, and open to all kinds of questions! The ride to the glacier is fun in of itself and provided breathtaking, diverse views that you otherwise would not be able to get. Hiking the glacier was so insanely breathtaking, unlike anything we have seen before. It was both educational and just purely beautiful. Highly, highly recommend this tour and tour company!

Unique experience - Very unique experience. The guide did a great job helping a very tentative hiker get through it. Guide was a little light on information. Also, it was really more of a glacier hike - there was only a very brief walk in an ice cave, although of course the nature of the weather, melting conditions etc. likely dictated that. Definitely an adventure worth taking while touring Iceland.
