One in a Lifetime Experience. - simply Amazing, our guide Thomas explained everything related to the glacier, the cave and the volcano making the experience more remarkable. In addition, he took AMAZING pictures to us during the tour and we had lunch at BLACK CRUST PIZZERIA and it was simply DELICIOUS!

Like nothing we’d ever seen - Such a fun, amazing, educational experience! It is such a unique landscape and unlike anything back in Virginia/US. Thomas was a phenomenal guide and shared so much about the area. He kept us safe and entertained the whole trip!

Very, very cool! - Honestly, the ice cave tour is the single coolest thing I’ve ever done. Our tour guide Anya was very engaging and knowledgeable and fun. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

A bucket list experience! - What an amazing opportunity to have a private tour of the Katla Ice Cave. The cave has been slowly shrinking for years and at some point this experience may be gone. Thomas, my guide, was an incredible historical resource, describing how the cave and surrounding area have been changing, rather dramatically, over the past decade. Once inside the cave, it's small, but still no less incredible. The landscape around it is a monochromatic palette of black and white. You feel like you're on another planet all together.
Also a huge shout out to the staff at Katlatrack, especially recommending a wear the rubber pants because it was quite a misty, rainy day and much needed. And once you're finished, go treat yourself to a pizza at Black Crust Pizza and reflect.

A Magical Glimpse Inside the Glacier - The Katla Ice Cave Tour was an amazing experience! We were lucky with the weather, which made the views even more spectacular. Our guide was great – very knowledgeable and passionate – and shared a lot of interesting facts about the glacier and the volcano.
The ice cave itself wasn’t very large, but it was still absolutely worth it. Being inside the glacier and seeing the natural ice formations up close was truly unforgettable.
We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland!

Great Tour with guide and transport to the Katla Iced Cave - Had a great time understanding how the ice cave remains available even during summer . Ride to the base was fun with lively explanation. Strongly recommend visitors to explore the trip .

Outstanding Ice Cave Experience with KatlaTrack!! - We booked the Fast Track Ice Cave tour for first morning time slot at 9am and so glad we did. Our group was first to be onsite which was huge. There were no groups in front of us, and it felt like we were the only ones on the glacier and in the cave area - absolutely priceless!! Our guide - DAVIS - was exceptional!! He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and wonderfully engaging. He embodied the perfect balance of adventure and safety. I felt at ease and comfortable throughout the experience and knew we were in great hands. Davis shared a wealth of information, yet did so in an enjoyable and consumable manner. This was a fantastic tour and I highly recommend KatlaTrack and Davis!!

We need to do better for our planet - The concept per se is amazing however the website is showing old pictures since the arc is not there anymore for the last year. A bit of a scam when you pay 191€ per person. Rental of rainy suit excluded (!!!).
I found it also a bit not respectful of the glacier as it looks like no matter how the glacier will change they will still organize tour visits and bring people. I didn’t find they were really respectful of nature and I felt bad after that.
