Very good experience from tour company - Fantastic experience, tour company had everything easily accessible and nice experience to the cave. Katla cave was amazing, particular if this your primary glacier experience. Tour guide was also knowledgeable and friendly.

Better than anticipated- visit while you can, and care for the climate so others can. - Informative and beautiful experience. Being the only ice cave tour available on summer, I was hesitant that it would be good. It was. Especially learning about the Karla glacier and why the ash layers make it possible and give it a distinctive look. It is all so variable, changeable and vulnerable in our changing climate. Ines is an excellent guide, giving good, well-paced explanations as well as looking after those with limited English and the children. She is an engaging and positive communicator. Totally enjoyed it!

Katla Ice tour- amazing - Excellent tour of this wonderful and amazing glacier covered with volcanic ash. The tour was guided superbly by Ines, who took lot of care in giving insights of the tour and also some interesting fun facts. One of the highlights of our first trip of Iceland. Would definitely recommend as “ must activity” in Iceland.

Ice cave - The scenery was really out of this world. The glacier is amazing with all the ash in it and the ice cave was small but spectacular.

Amazing once in a lifetime adventure . - It was like you were in another world. It is an adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life. The guy was knowledgeable about the area and gave us history and was entertaining. Most of all he kept us safe and knew what he was doing. That kid was amazing like something I’ve never seen before.

beautiful landscape, great tour guide! - We went on day of harsh weather with pouring rain and gushing wind. Nonetheless our guide Anya did a great job to ensure our safety throughout the tour, took great pictures for everyone, and has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour. The sight is out of this world and unforgettable!

Family friendly tour - Highly recommend Katlatrack when you visit Iceland. My daughters and I had a fantastic tour to the Katla ice cave. Our guide, Jindra, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and helped make it a great experience.

Worth visiting - It was a tricky climb to the cave itself. It was an amazing experience but the guide was great. I wish we had had more time in the cave itself

Waste of time and money - Utter waste of money. spent 45 min walking up a glacier to be inside an ice cave for 2 minutes. My bedroom is larger than this ice cave. Tourist trap!!!
