A very cool experience. - Ir was an amazing experience. We book it last minute and we don’t regret it, we also booked hiking boots for my husband. We had luck with the weather.

An Amazing Experiance - This was an amazing but strenuous hike up and down the glacier and into the ice cave. Not an easy climb but well worth it, even in the rain. Views were amazing, topography was nothing I had ever seen before, or will again. Our guide was fantastic as he helped me up and down the glacier. I could not have done it without him.

Family ice cave tour - We booked a private tour to allow our young family to see the glacier (our 5 year old wouldn't have been able to go on the group tour). We all had a wonderful trip to the glacier and the ice cave. There were lots of railings, ropes and steps cut into the ice. We felt very safe with Boris (thank you!) our guide. He was happy to explain what we could see around us and also give us some information about wildlife and other areas of Iceland. It was a brilliant experience. I would totally recommend it.

Best Glacier Tour in Iceland! - We had the best time on our Katlatrack glacier tour! Our guide Tomas was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the adventure even more fun. We got to see amazing sites and got fabulous photos of the inside of the glacier. I can't recommend Katlatrack and Tomas highly enough. It was a wonderful experience and a great addition to anyone's trip to Iceland.

Terrific experience all around - Really loved the whole experience! All the sights, the ice cave, the hiking. Guide was terrific and gave us great background. Felt very safe and taken well care of. Highly recommend!

Had a great time - Very nice short day tour. You get to walk on glacier and through an ice tunnel. The company can rent hiking boots if needed and even younger kids and older adults can do this. Our guide was patient and answered all questions.

Cancellation problematic - Unfortunately, the tour did not take place because I had to cancel the Iceland trip due to illness. Unfortunately, the costs were not refunded despite timely cancellation. They say the email did not arrive. Very annoying, all other booked tours could be cancelled without any problems. It’s a pity, as we will now tackle Iceland next year, Katlatrack will no longer be booked by me.
