Excellent - We had a jeep tour led by May. It was excellent. She spoke good english, better than a lot of guides we have had. Lunch was excellent and consisted of bbq pork, tofu, cabbage and rice. We saw a lot of good vieepoints, the weather is very changeable so there is a bit of luck involved. We came in winter so it was quite windy so hat, gloves and proper shoes are advised. May also took us to her village. This is a very authentic experience, we only saw one other tourist group all day.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Amazing Jeep Tour with May! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Amazing Jeep Tour with May! This was our second time taking the 1-day jeep tour, and it was just as incredible as the first! We did our first tour in November last year and returned again in early December this year. Once May and our driver realized we had taken the tour before, they immediately adapted the entire day—creating new routes, destinations, and activities so we could enjoy a completely fresh experience. That level of flexibility and care really stood out. May is an outstanding tour guide. She shared fascinating information throughout the day in both Lao and English, which was perfect for us since my fiancée is Lao and I’m from the USA. She is friendly, kind, and always smiling, and she makes the day feel fun and effortless. The driver was also excellent—skilled, safe, and very attentive. We truly enjoyed every moment with May, our driver, and the company. We highly recommend this jeep tour to anyone visiting the area, whether it’s your first time or your second! We’re already looking forward to booking another adventure with May next year.

Amazing tour! - I had an amazing time on this tour. It was a little pricier than most options, but definitely worth it. I ended up being the only person on the tour, and I really appreciated that they still ran it since many companies won’t go with just one person. My guide, May, was wonderful: informative, considerate, and always checking in to make sure I was okay. She’s from the Tan Phin village and even showed me where she lives, which made the experience feel much more personal. She also made sure that the people selling items in the villages did not bother me, which I really appreciated since some of them were really aggressive. When she found out I was Hmong, she tried to find Hmong people for me to talk with. I didn't catch the driver's name, but he was also excellent and managed the narrow, rocky mountain roads safely. The views were incredible. We visited two villages, one Hmong and one Red Dzao, and there were no crowds at all. For most of the stops, it felt like we were the only people there so definitely off the beaten path like the title says. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who doesn’t want to trek but still wants to enjoy the rice fields and villages without the crowds.

Great guide and tour - We had a wonderful time mostly due to our fantastic guide Lan. She was very informative and friendly but when we saig yes to seeing a typical village home she took us to hers and we met her husband and kids. Really interesting. If you have not seen the mountain villages very worthwhile.

Amazing time, great entertaining driver and amazing sights! - We had an amazing trip today, even though it was foggy and thus the views were not as amazing as they would usually be, Tamay made the day feel great. As we drove up and over mountains she told us about the vegetation and the sites around us, told us about history of the different groups that live in the mountains. She made the trip great. From seeing the fruits and vegatables, traversing a cave, going to a local home and seeing how the people in the villages live to getting a nice home cooked traditional meal. This experience was fully worth it despite the weather being a bit bad, and Tamay and our amazing driver are to thank for the amazing day we had! We would definitely recommend this tour! Bad weather or not!

Appalling weather but amazing Tour - Absolutely fantastic tour. The weather was appalling but May was able to adjust it so that we still were able to enjoy ourselves, see how the locals live and their amazing skills. The food was fantastic and she was so helpful when one of our party became unwell and took us to the pharmacy and helped with getting what was needed. I would highly recommend May. Just be aware that these jeeps are very old and can struggle with the hills but they are really fun to be driven around in
