This was a great... - This was a great experience, very educational. We went during the full moon, so it wasn’t as bright as usual, but the guide put a tarp over us to give it a better glow. He was very entertaining and shared great knowledge of the area.

Great Experience! Dion, made sure we not only had a great time, but also had more knowledge about the bio bay. - My cousin and I went on the Bio Bay Kayak Tour on May 28 and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Dion, was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that we were safe and well taken care of. He shared his love of Vieques Island and his passion for the environment encompassing the bio-luminescent bay. This was not a job for him, but a way of life and he wants others to care as much as he does. We were very moved by the experience and had a great time.

Great destination and activity with subpar service - The bio Bay was magical and enchanting. Totally worth the money and the time. The company did not live up to our expectations in service. The bus they used to get you from the meeting point to the Bay has no AC or windows. The chairs are pretty beat up and with no interior lights, which can be complicated with little kids. The road to the Bay can be a little rough for some, but can be exciting for the kids, since you are riding through mud for 5 to 10 minutes. Yo the to the water, you have to walk through deep mud while barefoot. This could be too much for some. But if you'd made it this far, you get to enjoy paradise, specially if you can go on a night without a full moon.

Beautiful but tour company was not the best. - The people are very nice, and the tour guide was knowledgeable, but the tour was short. They also do not give you clear kayaks, and they do not bring you back to the ferry. You also have to walk through very smelly mud to get to the kayaks. I would recommend that they put down some wood where that mud is so that people have a decent place to walk.

Not Good! - We did not do the tour. We purchased tickets for 7pm. I received a text that the tour was not until 8:30. Which interrupted other plans. We arrived at 8:30 to sit another 30 mins. The “tour guide” showed up at night with dark glasses on. Slurring his words. We felt very uncomfortable. You expect the person who will be guiding you in the dark in kayaks to be at their best. We chose for our safety to not take the tour. We came to vieques just for this tour.

Go with another company - Was looking forward to the tour. Unfortunately after taking an hour ferry and paying for a hotel to spend the night on vieques Island, the tour guy texted 10 minutes* before start time and cancelled the tour due to the weather. He promised a full refund. its been two weeks of contacting the tour guy and the tour company and I have yet to receive the refund.

Rude Tour Guide - I canceled after paying for this event because the tour guide was so rude. The reviews stating the tour guide is terrible are 100% true. I’m so glad I asked a question prior to going so that I could see what the reviews meant first hand before wasting time, energy, and money. There are other bio bay tours and I suggest any one of them over this one. Not my first time in San Juan but my first time trying to book this particular excursion and I’m so glad we dodged a bullet. They were literally arguing and being smart via message because I asked them to clarify details about the booking so that I am best prepared.
