Useful for stays of a few days - SERIOUS REVIEW. The Vienna pass allows you to visit more than 90 attractions in Vienna. IMPORTANT The pass is valid from midnight to midnight so if it is activated at 3pm to midnight it ends. This limits in usage. We used the Vienna pass for two days and saved about 20€. The fundamental problem is the opening hours of the museums that close more or less all at 5pm. For Schönbrunner Palace and Hofburh-Museum in Sisi you have to queue to convert your pass into a ticket and choose the time. We did not find availability for the same day but for the following day. So this is to be taken into account. But in a few days stay in Vienna it is ideal to see the main attractions. We visited: on the first day Schönbrunner Palace (with the Vienna pass only the first part is included so only the first rooms), the zoo, the greenhouse and the desert area. On the second day the Sisi museum, the belvedere, Albertina, the tower on the Danube and the ride on the Ferris wheel to Prater. Unfortunately we were not able to use the Hop on Hop off bus because the stops are not well signposted and so are the timetables. Obviously we didn't dwell too much on the things to see but we made quick laps taking into consideration only the most important things. If you plan to visit calmly everything is a solution to avoid.

Vienna Pass - Vienna Pass is a very good offer if you are interested in museums and Hop-on bus as a nice bonus. We traveled to Vienna alone with our wife, we had six days of passes. During this time we visited the Imperial Apartments in Hofburg, the Treasure, the Main Hall of the Library, the Museum of Art History, the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Peace (ethno), the Armory, the Ephesus Museum, the Belvedere, Albertina, the Imperial Crypt, the Museum of Carriages, Glorietta, the Palace and the Zoo in Schönbrunn, took three Hop-on bus lines (this is a wonderful way to relax after museums and see different parts of the city). Compared to the purchase of individual tickets, the savings were approximately doubled. In addition, the pass saves a lot of time, as you don't have to queue for tickets anywhere. Apart from two places - the Palace in Schönbrunn and the Imperial apartments in Hofburg - the pass gives the right of passage to the museum without a ticket. In the two places mentioned, the ticket must be collected at the box office. In Schoenbrunn's case, it's a box office for bands that doesn't have a line.

Some improvement needed by excellent otherwise! - Visited and enjoyed all the major sites. Vienna is amazing! The Vienna pass was excellent for entry to the sites. Suggestions: 1. include the Grand Tour at Schönbrunn to save travelers time. I had to run back to pay for an upgrade. 2. Have a pass without the Hop On Hop Off bus rides. In Vienna, you can make better use of time by walking or taking public transportation.

Vianna pass at many museum visits highly recommended. Use hops to hop off really DRAMA - With multiple visits to museums top you can walk right through. Hop on Hop off DRAMA did not ride the schedule times. We had to catch a taxi a few times because the last one wasn't driving or there was an hour between them, personally I don't think the hop on hop off is recommended. Think for a long time about certain points to sell Vienna passes. Very unfortunate about Sisi her summer palace where you can only see 3 rooms out of 26 with the Vienna pass so actually you can't see anything! Gardens were closed so you could not use the pass while that is nicely mentioned. At the summer palace you can see how they make applestudel this came with the pass, but if you buy it it is €9,50 and you get an apple strudel now we had coffee ourselves and this was €6,50 per coffee. We did take the pass out because we visited a lot one day, but it is not well signposted like the hop on hop off or the summer palace of sisi. Unfortunately!

OUTRAGEOUS AND MONEY-CLUTCHING - Vienna Pass is not recommended, you can not count on the inclusive OP-ON-OP-OFF bus, their frequencies are far too low for the busy period of the holidays. According to the Vienna office, it's not high season for those buses, and according to the museums, it was high season, so you're late everywhere. The boat trip was also moved from the city quay to the Danube quay where those buses only run every 40 minutes Also for the visit of Schünbrunn Castle you will only see 4 rooms if you do not want to impose 10€ for the 40 rooms, a 10 to 15 rooms would have been acceptable SCANDALOUS AND GEL-KNOBBING Recommended to buy combi tickets from multiple visits via the palaces themselves and 3 days of public transport would have been more interesting

Lack of consideration. - We took a pass for 3 days. When we went to the office on Friday afternoon to redeem our voucher for a physical card, the attendee asked us if we would like the pass activated since Saturday morning. We said yes because our activities were scheduled for the next day. The cards did have the end date indicated in these conditions. The attendee told us that it was necessary to reserve the visit slot for certain activities such as the Spanish Riding School and the Château schonbrunn. So we went to the riding school to make arrangements for our next day visit (reservation), which was a great way to present our Vienna pass to them. We had to walk from point to point because buses are not very frequent and we were not lucky enough to find one! Well, that made us feel good! The third day of the pass (Monday), date indicated on the card, at the entrance of the apartments of Sisi, unpleasant surprise because our pass was no longer valid! Back to the Vienna office pass or someone different from Friday told us that booking a visit slot on Friday activated the pass and we lost a whole day! “No, I can’t help you because it’s well written on the small letters about the terms of use... blah blah”. But her colleague told us to do it like that and we followed her instructions! They can follow all our trips and visits and have seen that no visits were made on Friday! So, summary of a bad experience, we paid 3 days and were allowed 2 without any understanding on their part.

NEVER IN WINTER! / NEVER IN WINTER - Don't buy it if you go in winter! Half of the attractions closed and the frequency of the buses is hourly and do not come times do not know how long you will have to wait!! Muggy we couldn't use a bus in 3 days pass. They do not advise that many attractions are closed or the exact direction of the stops. An absolute disaster in the end we moved only with Uber or metro.

Worst of Vienna A ROBBERY - The great tourist attractions you can not see because being confident that you can enter when you arrive they tell you that everything is sold. For example, the Sisi museum and the shombrun complex. In the latter they let us see three rooms and then told us that neither the grand tour nor everything else we could see. The equestrian school and other activities like the above did not have a place for a few days. If you pay for a 2-day Vienna Pass please note that you must be there for at least 5 days. When you arrive, go through the activities so that hopefully you can visit them on your last day of stay. 700€ thrown away

Unfortunate management and terrible information when buying it online. - I have had a very bad experience, I bought by booking two cards for 3 days, the card has been giving me problems since the first day, I had to go directly to the office of the Vienna pass to solve it, since they did not let me enter the museum of Sisi, the second day, one had a good time and the other not, in the norse, the administrator an edge, unfriendly, ill-mannered, rude and without wanting to help and collaborate, almost cost me a problem, the only thing that told me that I had to pay again the attraction. In the palace of shonbrunn only the halls enter, not the rooms and there are other activities that in November are closed. An odyssey to book the opera, may be that financially I have turned out profitable but not in disgusts, so I would never buy it again. What's more, I don't think I'll ever buy this kind of card from now on.
