The charm of Mozart's music - The Wiener Mozart Concerts are the second-best option for all those who cannot attend the New Year's Concert in Vienna. They are held regularly. Nevertheless, we had to buy our tickets well in advance. When we arrived at the Musikverein, there were many spectators from all over the world — almost a full house. Both the compositions, the musicians and the soloist were excellent! They were wearing periodic costumes - a nice touch. It is hard to choose a composition or two we liked the most, but we have to mention the Ouverture from the Le Nozze di Figaro and the first movement of Symphony No. 40. To the delight of the audience, there were two Bis compositions! After the full program of Mozart's masterpieces, the orchestra performed the waltz An der schönen blauen Donau by Johann Strauss Junior and the Radetzky March by Johann Strauss Senior! Needless to say, the atmosphere was festive!

Great music & singers, and no-hassle ticket logistics. - Great music & opera singers, and no-hassle ticket logistics. Note: There could be multiple concerts going on at the same venue, so expect queues at the coat check and bar areas.

Fun experience in Vienna! - This was a wonderful experience! The music and entertainment were great. The only downside is that the floor chairs are all on the same level, without an incline. Unfortunately, this arrangement can obstruct the view if you have someone tall in front of you. I would still highly recommend this venue and concert to anyone!

Beware of the before/after dinner - The Vienna Mozart Concert was great, but wished it was longer than 1 1/2 hours. in all honesty it was technically less than that because there was a 15 min. intermission. BUT BE AWARE!!! avoid the 3-course meal afterwards or before concert. Our dinner arrangement was at the Grand hotel Wien and was a huge disappointment. the 3-course meal started with beef noodle soup, the second course was a choice between fried chicken or fish so we decided to try the fish. awful, not only was the portion tiny, but overcooked and the sides (which you could not substitute ) was lentil beans and greasy uncooked potatoes. 3-course ended with desert that had 4 bite varieties of sweets. again, the portion sizes were so small that hours later we were hungry. Paying an extra 100+ euros was not worth the crap they served us. 12/14/2024

Performance OK, but not worth - We arrived at the Musikverein an hour before the show. Many people were crowded there. There’s no signage to show where to queue. You need to asked the staff onsite. The performance we booked was at Brahms-Saal. It’s a bit old inside and not really grand as you saw in the photos. Seats were all on the same level except the few rows at the back of the hall (just only slightly 1-3 steps). Our seats were on the last 2nd rows at the corner side. It’s really disappointed as it’s totally blocked by the square-sharp pillar that we couldn’t see the stage and the performers. (My friend needed to lean towards the wall to see the performers). The chairs were uncomfortable. They claimed it’s not allowed to go in if you were late. We saw staff also allowed late comer to enter during the performance. We heard some people dropped their phones on the floor. People sat in front of us taking video for their friends as two of their friends had even worse situation than us. Overall, it’s an annoying show. With this arrangement, it’s absolutely overpriced. I think they shouldn’t sell tickets with blocked view.

Disappointed - I recently attended a concert at this venue, and I have to say, it was a huge letdown. My seat was in the balcony, second row, and honestly, I couldn’t see anything. All I could see were the backs of people in the first row, which was incredibly frustrating. I found myself having to stand up just to catch a glimpse of the stage, and even then, it felt like I was merely listening to a radio broadcast rather than enjoying a live performance. The sound quality was decent, but the view was so poor that it overshadowed everything else. The tickets were overpriced for such a terrible experience, and I left feeling like I wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend this venue for concerts, especially if you want to actually see the performance. Save your money and choose a better place!

Terrible seats and staff - I had a terrible experience at the Wiener Mozart Konzert in Vienna, Austria. When I bought the tickets, there was no disclosure whatsoever that some seats have absolutely zero visibility. Imagine paying for an opera and not being able to see anything! When I brought this up with the staff, they were shockingly rude and completely unhelpful, showing no concern for the issue. This is unacceptable for a venue of this supposed caliber. Avoid this place unless you’re willing to gamble on whether you’ll actually get to enjoy the performance. Definitely not worth the money or frustration.
