Become a local for a day! The tour will take you through the historical center of Vienna. Let our experienced guides bring history back to life whilst exploring the main attractions, monuments, and hidden gems of the old town. The tour offers an insight into the history, architecture, culinary and daily Viennese life. Your walk will begin at our meeting point at the Albertinaplatz, close by the Opera. From there, your guide will take you to through the hidden alleyways in the eldest part of the city, where Mozart and Beethoven used to live. Touch history in its original locations! Continue the walk to the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and from there travel back to the imperial times crossing the courtyards of the Hofburg Imperial Palace. There, hear about life, gossip and anecdotes about the Habsburg imperial family, as well as about Austria’s darkest times in the 20th century. The tour will finish close by the Vienna State Opera. This is a small group tour with max.6 persons on tour.

Relaxed walking tour with Biljana - The BEST walking tour ever! Our guide Bilijana was engaging, professional and good humoured. Furthermore she was an expert and able to provide commentary in an easy to understand way. The tour was also at a very relaxed pace. We not only experienced the main attractions but were also fortunate to see some 'out of the way' places which were great. Highly recommend this tour.

Great first tour in Vienna! - Our tour guide, Eddie, was wonderful. He has lived in Vienna for decades and knows the city well. He asked about our interests (we knew nothing about Vienna in advance)- and tailored the tour to us. He had plenty of recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, etc. Overall a great orientation to the city- perfect activity for your first day!

Mr. WALTER WEINBERG is the best tour guide who explained the history of Vienna to me. - Mr. Walter WEINBERG is the best tour guide in Vienna that your company has to offer! I have never experienced his explanations and stories of Vienna's history being so excellent. Mr. Walter WEINBERG allows even unusual questions without further ado - gives his "customers" enough time to take photos and also offers us tourists good advice for an excellent, memorable stay in Vienna. Mr. Walter Weinbermeir is the BEST!!!

Vienna in an afternoon - I can’t say enough good things about our tour guide. I loved the museum and would have loved to have had more time there! The greeter with green umbrella was so welcoming and easy to find! Everything we saw was enhanced by her knowledge and her ability to share !!!! Most of all I so appreciated that she ran ahead to buy subway fare for the 3 of us and got us to our shuttle with only minutes to spare. Thank you for a phenomenal time!!!

A great way to experience the center of Vienna - This was an amazing tour. The leader was very experienced and knowledgeable. She lived in Vienna 30 years and was able to share so much about the city. I would take the same tour again.

Too much $$$ for a very basic walk - My friend and I have been on many Viator tours. This one was the only one that we have been extremely disappointed. We paid $245 for a 2 hour tour that did NOT go into 1 single building. All we did we walk and the tour guide pointed things out. This tour should have been $100 for we did not get anything that we could not have gotten on line. I would like to request a partial refund for this terrible tour. This is certainly not up to the Viator standards.
