View from the wheel - Tremendous view over the city. The wheel is about 8l0 years old and the experience is well organised. I think we qued for about 8 minutes

Great Experience - Anytime ticket. No real queues and great to travel on an iconic landmark. Prior to embarking their is a mini museum type affair with animated characters and scenes contained in carriages.

Beautiful view, don't stop for the photo - A famous landmark in Vienna, and a great way to take in all the views. Buy you tickets online and you wont have to wait in line. The amusepark is also lovely, all though jam packed when we visited.
One annoying thing, as you enter the office, they take a picture of you. They make it look like something mandatory, but it's just a way to make money. I saw some parents struggling to have their kids sit still for the photo, maybe thinking it was something important.

The wheel of Vienna. - Built in 1896, the Vienna Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad Wiener) continues to spin and offers a wonderful view of the city. It 'a must-see stop on a tour .. even to get back a little' children. The tour takes about fifteen minutes and the ticket costs 14.50€.

Fun ride, good views - We’ve been on many similar wheels around the world.. always a neat ride to see the views.. these aren’t thrill seeking rides, not sure why people get all bent up saying it’s a rip off???
What is it that some expect?? This one is oldest one in existence, a fun circle around, good pics and views.. that’s it yes, total experience took us 45 minutes..
We thought it was fun, loved the views, cool transport pods!

Enjoyable leisurely ride, nice views - We enjoyed the experience of riding in such an old ferris wheel. We’d booked in advance so skipped the queues (which weren’t long). The ride was very leisurely, offered great daytime views of Vienna.
The ferris wheel is in the middle of a fairground, lots of rides available, but we didn’t investigate prices. It’s clearly a place for all ages where you can spend a whole day.

Pleasant ride with an average view - It's a big, old, ferris wheel. A comfortable, obviously not scary ride with a fairly average view, but if you're at Prater and don't fancy one of the scary rides this is a very genteel alternative.

Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel – Iconic Viewpoint Over the City - The Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel is a classic experience and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the city. The ride lasts about 10–15 minutes and costs €14.50. If you buy your ticket in advance, you can use the fast track line and skip the regular queue – definitely a time-saver during busy hours.
Some cabins even have seating, which makes the ride more comfortable. A must-do when visiting the Prater, especially around sunset!

Waste money and time. Save your money and time for something else. - Don’t waste your money and time. A true ripoff. The worst big wheel in the world and ruins the image of Vienna. We went there at around 9pm. Nothing to see. No view at all to compare with other cities like london and Budapest. And they charge way too expensive. It doesn’t worth a penny.
What a shame!
Don’t go. We were so disappointed and this ruined our holiday as well.
