Pleasant surprise - Went in the morning when there was no que. Great view of the city and surprisingly high. The Wheel stops for boarding/off-boarding giving you plenty of time to see the city around you. Nice display areas before going on the actual wheel. If the weather is nice recommend! Careful with the photos, they take pictures before going on and you don't even realizes they are trying to sell you something. At first it seems they are there to let you in.

Lovely ride on the oldest ferris wheel - Time your visit so you arrive just before the sun goes down, as you’ll likely have a wait before you can board. That way, you’ll experience the ride in the day and finish when it’s dark. Prater looks cool when it is lit up at night, though the views from the top are great during the daytime.

In the sky with Vienna’s Riesenrad! - Spectacular views and great memories when you take a ride on the Riesenrad in VIENNA’s Prater Park. The wait time was short and you have the option of purchasing photos of your experience. Prices are very reasonable. Fun for adults and kids.

Ferris wheel lovers - do not miss - My wife LOVES ferris wheels - me not so much. We went on this ride on our "day off" while visiting Vienna. As a retired engineer, I marveled at the construction of it.

Beautiful view of the whole city - We booked a combined ticket with Madame Tussauds, which was then fully justifiable for us. Already the ante-hall, which is scheduled for queuing on fuller days, was very entertaining and attractively designed. The Prater was not very busy that day so we also had plenty of space in the Ferris wheel to look around in all directions. The view of the city was very nice. The only criticism: during our visit it was over 30 degrees Celsius outside, so it was really warm in these Ferris wheel gondolas.

Historical and expensive - Well, if you're going to the Prater, how can you not climb the wheel if you've seen "the third man." It's not in itself a fairground wheel because you'll only take a spin at a low speed and with multiple stops for each car, it's a priced viewpoint in Vienna. 14 bucks per person. Face like everything there.
