Our culinary expedition in Vienna commences with a trip to a family-run bakery situated in the city’s 10th district, proceeding from our rendezvous at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. We will travel via subway to this diverse, communal setting. At this location, we will indulge in a delightful local delicacy known as krapfen - a sugary, jam-filled doughnut savored throughout the year but particularly during the period leading up to Lent.
Our journey continues as we take the subway to the city’s 4th district for a visit to an off-the-beaten-path coffee shop. Although not widely recognized, this café serves delectable Austrian pastries including cakes and strudels.
Our last destination is Vienna’s renowned Naschmarkt where we will taste artisanal Austrian chocolates. Concluding our tour, we will unwind with a beverage at a trendy locale in the 7th district.
Though our Vienna food tour’s offerings change according to the season, some delights you may encounter include palatschinken (crepes filled with jam), marillenknödel (apricot dumplings), gugelhupf (a type of bundt cake), and/or Austrian-style ice cream.

Fantastic Desert Tour - Maria gave us an awesome desert tour! Also very informative as to local customs and traditions of deserts, coffee and relaxing cafe life in wonderful Vienna . I utterly recommend this memorable tour. An interesting mix of lovely people who I hope to stay in touch with ❤️

Delicious insider tour of Vienna. - What a fabulous time we had with Wolfy, discovering the local Vienna on our 4 hour Dessert Tour (yum).He led our group of six all over the City, on foot, by subway and by tram. We learned so much about the City and its history while savoring tastes of the best Vienna has to offer in pastries, ice cream and goulash. On our own we never would have found some of the spots we visted on our tour. This was a real treat and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Eating like a local - Maria showed us local hotspots throughout Vienna using the subway and streetcar system. We were introduced to different ethnic neighborhoods and enjoyed traditional hot and cold Viennese desserts along with coffee, wine or beer. The last stop was at a lively pub where we were served delicious fried chicken and schnitzel to balance out the sweets. Throughout the tour Maria gave us the history of the neighborhoods. We never waited for a table and all desserts were served as soon as we were comfortably seated- no rushing. My husband and I had a great time and we are not dessert people- a great way to see outside the tourist area of Vienna.

Maria, Queen of the dessert experience! - Maria was wonderful as our guide. Very knowledgeable about Viennese life and not only entertained us with her charm and choice of locations, but educated us on how the subway and tram system worked, which was appreciated as first time visitors to Vienna and made it so much easier for us to feel confident to explore over the following days. The pastries and desserts were amazing and so many that we welcomed the change of a savoury meal to end the tour! Maria is highly recommended!

Delightful trip to Vienna’s sweets - We had a great time with Maria, she took us to several great spots with interesting and delicious sweets, ending with a wonderful savory light meal. She provided interesting information about the restaurants and neighborhoods we visited, and was a delight to talk to. One of our best tours.

Highly recommend this tour - There was so much delicious food, make sure to go hungry. Wolfe was a fantastic guide with so much information. You could tell the workers at the restaurant liked him and that means alot. Never felt like he was rushing us.

The best tour I’ve been on - 10/10! Wolfi is incredible. He went above and beyond for our group. He gave us insight into local history. He took us around Vienna, especially to hidden gems. The food and drinks were amazing. I felt very safe the entire time. I would absolutely book again. My suggestion is to come hungry! I made the mistake of eating prior, and I wish I didn’t. There was so much food on this tour, and I sadly did not get to finish it because I was so full.
