One of the best Viator food walking tour we experienced. - Our guide, Peter, was not only taking us to places to eat but was also telling us about the history of Vienna. Extremely knowledgeable guide.

Forkin’ fantastic - Loved this tour. There was more subway and bus use than I expected but we really got around fast. I was very full at the end. But, our guide was great about having a wide variety of conversations about the culture and living in Vienna. The food choices were spot on, especially the market vendor! Impressive culinary experience!

A spectacular city presented by Peter our guide. - We have experienced quite a few walking food tours over the years and we were extremely impressed by this tour of Vienna. Our guide, Peter, was amazing, such a gentleman with a deep knowledge of Vienna, being the town he was born, raised and grew up in. His experience in the food industry also contributed to an amazing tour full of useful info, the city’s rich history and of course, its amazing food scene! We started off with coffee and apfelstrudel at one of Vienna’s oldest coffee houses before moving onto Stephansplatz (yes the one with the huge church) and also to a wonderful baroque church called Peterskirsche. We had an amazing choice of lunch of either schnitzel or tafelspitz washed down with either some tasty beer or lively local wine. We wandered all over the city on train, tram and on foot and had an amazing day. Our last stop was at one of the city’s little gems. We were served some amazing slow cooked crispy pork with special mustards and horseradish plus some local sausage and a surprise which I will leave you to discover. At the end of the day my wife and I both agreed that this tour was the best one we have both experienced!!! Thanks Peter - we both had an amazing day.

Perfect way to experience Austrian food and plenty of it! - Experiencing the train, subway & bus system of Vienna is something we wouldn't have done without this tour. We moved thru many of the Vienna districts which was a great way to experience the culture and the food! The food was as authentic as it comes and don't eat before the tour! We loved Christof's sense of humor and his honesty about the Austrian culture. Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful food tour - Our guide, Maria Nicolette, was wonderful. She was full of enthusiasm for the city and the food, and lots of fun. We went to parts of the city we’d never have seen and ate and drank in unexpected places. The best was Thomas’s wurstelstand—the most amazing goulash and pork bellies ever. We had a great time, and got acquainted with the subway and tram system. Thanks, Maria!

Best Food Tour Ever. - One of the best tours we’ve taken. The food was authentic and delicious. We especially enjoyed the sausage stand where we tried 3 types of sausage ( with mustard and fresh horseradish) goulash and ice cream with pumpkin seed oil. Loved riding the subway and tram to see more of.Vienna. Marianne was great.

Great tour! Go early in your stay in Vienna, great info! - This was an outstanding tour of local places. Be sure to come hungry. Also, you will need to purchase a 24 hour subway/bus pass for this unless you already have a valid one.

Walk and eat and enjoy Vienna! - We were 4 couples and reserved this tour in advance due to the wonderful reviews. We are also very happy to add 5 stars. This is a must-do tour and highly suggest you do it early in your stay in Vienna. Our tour guide, Maria, was a delight. Very knowledgeable about Vienna and took us to food places we never would have found. She helped us navigate the trains and metro with ease so the remainder of our stay will be a lot less stressful. Additionally, she emailed us recommendations for places to eat and sights to see after our tour. A great way to enjoy Vienna. One more thing.....take this tour on an empty stomach. I assure you, you will be full! Delicious - every bite. 😋
