Music and musicians... - Music and musicians fabulous. Space very ornate and beautiful but seats are uncomfortable after an hour or so and it gets very hot. 0,80€ for the coat check in cash.

A beautiful evening performance - We went to the Musikverein for a Mozart concert, we had a very enjoyable evening and the concert was wonderful. The hall is stunning and the acoustics made the music sound wonderful. Our seats weren’t the best however we didn’t pay the top price therefore for what we paid we were very happy.

Great Performance! - If you’re not a particular fan of classical music, it may be longer than you’d care for although you can always leave early. We got the class 4 seats (the cheapest) and found there was no leg room, the seats a bit hard, and hard to see over others heads. That was fine given what we paid. Music was beautiful with great sound quality and very easy to hear. Wonderful performance. Also it’s pretty warm in there and you have to check your coats at a fee (€ 0.8) only one coat check (coat check E left of the main entrance) accepts card.

Program was good - finding way around event space less easy - Very disorganized at event location. Performance room was warm - dress for it to be warm and/or bring a hand fan.

I got category 4 tickets... - I got category 4 tickets as a last minute while I was in Vienna. Lovely venue however I was allocated at first floor and dress circle on second row. Which was virtually unable to see orchestra at all. I felt like I was sitting with my headphone with music for 2 hours. No visual sensations… which spoils my night. J expected it like UK theatre, yes you get less nice seat with cheaper tickets but doesn’t mean you can’t see anything at all ( usually get restrict view or something but this one was completely unable to see). Orchestra was small but they made fairly big sound.
