Highlights

Morning and Afternoon Tour

Set out on your guided bike tour from central Vienna and admire the world-famous Vienna State Opera house and explore within the Ringstraße Boulevard with its impressive historical and government buildings including the Austrian Parliament Building (Parliament) and Rathaus (New City Hall). See the grandeur of Hofburg Palace and bike through its grand public square, the Heldenplatz. Follow your guide past the elegant Burgtheater and ornate St Stephen’s Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna. View the Albertina, a palatial art museum Cross the bustling Karlsplatz and see magnificent St Charles’ Church (Karlskirche), visit the colorful Hundertwasserhaus building, and bike through the Wiener Prater with its monumental ferris wheel. After riding across the beautiful blue Danube River, pass the architecturally significant Austrian Postal Savings Bank (Postsparkasse) and sprawling Stadtpark with its famous statue of Johann Strauss II before finishing your 6-mile (10-km) bike ride.

Evening Tour

This tour is more about enjoying Vienna’s atmosphere rather than ticking attractions off your list. Start your guided bike ride in central Vienna and travel through the streets at a leisurely pace. As the sunset casts a gentle glow on grand old buildings, imagine how Vienna looked more than a century ago when the Habsburgs rode through the city on evening carriage rides. Continue your ride, admiring majestic Viennese monuments illuminated against the twilight sky. Conclude your 6-mile (10-km) bike tour back in central Vienna.

While each bike tour’s itinerary is different, all take you through the most beautiful parts of Vienna at a leisurely pace with plenty of photo opportunities. Expert guides show you Vienna’s best-known landmarks and answer all your questions. These bike tours allow you to cover more ground than by walking while enjoying a more intimate experience than you would have on a large coach tour.

Bike tour, best way to see a city - I’m now convinced the best way to start your first day in any city that you are not familiar with is by Bike. This was a wonderful tour even in hot 88° temperatures. There’s always a great breeze and shade and every stop. The rest of your trip you’ll have a better understanding of how the city is laid out and where its landmarks are, I would definitely encourage people to do a bike tour of the city before you do anything else. You cover more ground and it is so much more easier to pedal a bike than to walk.

rain pampered otherwise excellent tour - 16 of us, all hyped, an excellent guide and bikes. Rain hit us about half way through and in buckets. Guide did try to amend and halt, however we were just soaked - dang nature. Tour hit many of the highlights and was well paced (ignoring the desperate tries to not get more soaked) - totally recommend!

Do this bike tour!!! - One of our favorite things we did during our trip to Vienna! You get to see so much of the city! The best part was our guide, Horst! He was so friendly and happy and knew everything about the city. His stories were hilarious and very entertaining! He gave us tons of food and activity recommendations. If you decide to do this tour (which you totally should) then you should request Horst! Definitely worth the time and money!! Can’t say enough good things about it!

Great way to see Vienna! - Bicycle guide is really a brilliant way to see much of Vienna. The guide was very skilled and divided the stops into different categories such as history, culture and politics. He was friendly, brought everyone in the group and had a lot of knowledge. All in all a very nice experience. I traveled alone and found this to be a great way to socialize. The only negative was that the group was too large with about 25 participants. At the same event in Munich, they divided the group into 3 with 16 participants each. It would be an advantage to have a smaller group also in large Vienna.

Great way to get acclimated to the city - Horst was a great guide. 24 people on tour- a bit too large to keep everyone together. Part of the group got lost at the beginning because the sweeper did not know the route. After that, things went more smoothly and it was an enjoyable ride through the city.

Too many people on the tour. Don’t recommend - Way too many people for one bike tour. Could hardly hear the tour guide. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. We booked last minute and this tour company is only one that had availability. Don’t recommend

Disastrous - The tour guide was disrespectful and did no single effort in making us feel welcomed. He even dare to ask us no german speaking to step aside so not to bother those german speaking. Not recomended at all.
