Experience the best of Vienna, including the Schönbrunn Palace, on this 3.5-hour city highlights tour by bus. Drive along the famous Ringstrasse boulevard to admire buildings such as the Vienna State Opera, City Hall and Hofburg Palace, once home of Marie Antoinette. Then, see the extravagant staterooms of the Schönbrunn, the summer residence of the Habsburg monarchs, and get free time to stroll its gardens or relax at the café.

Meeting point is 15-10 minutes before departure in front of the Opera Fountain at the Vienna State Opera. Take the lines U1 (red), U2 (purple) or U4 (green) to station "Karlsplatz". Follow the exit "Oper" and walk left along the Vienna State Opera to get to Operngasse.

Marvelous Shonbrunn - The guides were excellent. Firstly the bus tour around ring road was very well commentated. Then the guide in the palace was great. Someone reviewed saying they couldn't hear the guide.... they must have had the ear piece turned off or in their pocket. The garden is amazing. We spent a lot of time after the inside tour looking at the rest of the property including the zoo. Allow most of the day to get the most of this wonderful place.

Great tour! - This tour helped us find other places we wanted to go visit while in Vienna. The drive around the city provided good views and information. The palace tour was perfect thanks to the information the guide provided (we like to hear the history of places). The time for enjoying the palace was just right.

lovely day out - The whole site is breath taking house gardens and also went to a concert there only downside there are two many people at any one time and all the extra things you have to pay for

Good for 1st time visiting - Victoria our guide, she was very good at storytelling about the history of the various buildings along the route to the palace.
When we got there and had some spare time she explained in more detail about the empress of Vienna

Good half day trip covering major attractions in Vienna. - Good half day trip covering main attractions in Vienna. Especially, if you limited time in Vienna, this trip is definitely advisable. The guide was helpful, and speaking in both Spanish and English. Despite huge crowd on our day of visit due to Sunday, we didnt have to wait in queue at Schonbrunn palace due to the skip the line tickets provided by the operator. Overall, a good experience in the limited time we had in Vienna. Thanks.

Average - The sites of the tour itself were well worth the visit although to properly visit the Palace requires a minimum of half a day, given its size (including the gardens). Our tour was mixed Spanish and English speaking, which we felt meant that we only got part of the information that would have been shared on purely english speaking tour. This was only a minor point, but when you are driving past points of interest, timing of the information sharing is important, and this cannot be achieved if the guide has to repeat the information in another language. So in the end someone misses out. The guide was knowledgable but did not appear too enthusiastic.

Compared to everything... - Compared to everything else in Vienna, this palace didn’t live up to the hype.
There were too many in the group and unless you were close to the guide, there was too much static in the headphones. Most of the tour I wasn’t able to hear the guide and the rest of the time, I found myself trying to get around people to get close to the guide so I would be able to understand what she was saying

Worth it if you love palaces. - The organization was great, on time and as noted. Our guide (Stephen) and driver were wonderful. Lots of good information with fun thrown in. The palace itself was underwhelming in a long slog room to room. If you love palaces and castles then go, if not skip it. Wish I had.

ONLY IF YOU ENJOY 18th Century PART OF HABSBURG HISTORY - Took an english tour, had an english and german tour!
1 hour of city tour in the bus before heading to the site, not desired nor asked for.
When getting to the venue, 1/2h of free time before the tour started.
Tour started in confusion and was crowded. Very specific on 1 part of the Schoenbrunn castle (Maria Theresa), but nothing for the rest of the site ( Franz-Ferdinand/Sissi, gardens, etc).

Not with it - So unhappy with this tour. We saw nothing in the city & then waited a long time for tour. Our guide hardly spoke English. Do not suggest this tour
