Excellent trip! - We had an excellent trip with Darko as our tour guide and a driver. The places we visited were incredible and he always gave us great suggestions where to go for our best experience and most efficient time spending as there is so much to see. Darko is very knowledgeable, answer all our questions about history and the region we visited. He was very kind and helpful and did the best usage of our time during the day trip. Salzburg was the place we liked the most, it is like a fairy tale town. We also enjoyed Mozart house visit and of course Hallstatt. We highly recommend this picturous trip to Salzburg and Hallstatt.

D was great. This was... - D was great. This was essentially a private car for the day. D gave us a ton of options and was great at providing history and background about the places we were seeing. A fantastic way to cover so much ground in one day. If we had to do it again we would have spent more time in Hallstatt and less time in Salzburg but that's just us, not D or this tour. You can customize any way you want!

Wonderful Experience! - Michael was an excellent guide for this excursion. He was knowledgable about the areas we visited and he went above and beyond to make the trip as enjoyable as it was. My family had an amazing time seeing all the beautiful sights! This is 100% worth the money and time.

Melk and Hallstatt with Kids - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. D was very prompt with our pick up. We were a group of two adults and two kids (11,9), and we only wanted to do Melk and Hallstatt. That was no problem for D. At each stop, he would give us an overview of the sights, estimates of how long each activity would take, recommendations for food, and then we would make a plan for where to meet and at what time for each city. Then we toured around as a family and took our time in each place. Both cities are very small so it’s not hard to find your way around. Hallstatt would be very difficult to visit from Vienna by train so I’m very happy we had a driver. We felt like we had the right amount of time in both Hallstatt and Melk by the end of our day. The kids enjoyed both cities too, especially the boats you could rent in Hallstatt. There was a lot of possibilities for souvenir shopping in Hallstatt. Overall, this was a highlight for our whole family and we would do it again.

Beautiful visit to some... - Beautiful visit to some highlights in Austria! Our tour began on time, and organized the best order in which to visit these locations, as they can get quite busy. These tours are completely flexible with respect to adjusting or omitting stops, but the tour company has organized the stops wonderfully! Our driver was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable!

A Highlight of Our Trip - LTDE Transfer (aka viagotr.com) did an excellent job for us. We customized their private tour to see parts of the Lakes District we hadn't already seen on prior trips to Austria. Communication from them was timely and cordial as we made the arrangements, and our driver/guide, Romano, was outstanding. He picked us up at our hotel, provided informative and engaging information and conversation on the way to the Lakes District, and included several scenic stops we hadn't thought of. He went the extra mile to talk with the Lake Wolfgangsee ferry ticket operator to make sure we purchased the right tickets and that we got in the right boat-dock line to take the ferry up the lake to St. Gilgen. The ferry ride was scenic and relaxing in May sunshine. In St. Gilgen, we took the cable car to the top of the mountain for amazing views of many lakes below, then visited the outstanding Musical Instruments Museum and strolled around town a bit. Romano was prompt in picking us up at the appointed hour, and on the way back to Vienna, he included a stop at the "Sound of Music" wedding scene church in Mondsee. Everything went very smoothly and was extremely enjoyable thanks to how personable and reliable our driver guide was. We were able to just relax and enjoy the journey and the sights. This day trip was a highlight of our trip to Vienna.
