- Melk Abbey - Upon arrival in Melk, discover the history of the nearly thousand-year-old Benedictine Abbey. Overlooking the town of Melk, this impressive baroque-style Abbey houses the renowned library and serves as the final resting place of Saint Coloman, the patron saint of Austria. During your visit, you can also explore the Abbey church and the garden pavilion. After approximately a 1-hour visit to Melk, continue your journey through the Austrian countryside, lakes, and mountains to your next destination, the charming town of Hallstatt.
- Hallstatt - Nestled between the mountains and the lake, Hallstatt is renowned as one of the most photographed villages in Europe. During an approximately 1.5-hour visit to Hallstatt, you can visit the Skywalk 360m platform with breathtaking views, stroll along the Promenade into the colorful town center with numerous small shops. To make your visit to Hallstatt more memorable, enjoy local delicacies and take a walk by Hallstatt Lake.
- Lake Wolfgang - The road from Hallstatt to Salzburg offers spectacular panoramic views of the lakes within the Salzkammergut region. A photo break opportunity will be provided at Lake Wolfgang in the town of Sankt Gilgen. Feel free to ask the driver for any other short stops along this route to capture the picturesque scenery of Austrian lakes.
- Salzburg - The tour continues with a visit to Salzburg. Upon arrival, independently explore the UNESCO-protected Old Town, Mirabell Palace Gardens, used as a filming location for the popular “Sound of Music” movie and the do-re-mi song, or enjoy a spectacular view of the city from the Hohensalzburg fortress. Surrounded by mountains, Salzburg is well known as the birthplace of Mozart, and you can try Mozart chocolate, only available in Salzburg. After concluding the day in Salzburg around 17:30 - 18:00, the tour returns to your accommodation in Vienna, where your day tour began with us.

Amazing day - Michal was an excellent guide, and not only was I entertained by the humor, but I also found the information incredibly informative. I highly recommend this experience!

We had a lovely day trip... - We had a lovely day trip with Michael. He had great recommendations for how to maximize our time in each location and it was great to be able to get a taste of Melk, Salzburg, and Hallstatt. Lots of opportunities for pictures and a seamless day overall. Would definitely recommend!

Fun and Interesting Day Visiting Three Legendary Towns - Romano was a delightful guide/driver. He has so much knowledge about Austria, and could thoroughly answer every question we asked him. We had a wonderful time visiting the three towns and Romano did an awesome job letting us know when and where he would pick up up after each stop where we had ample time to explore the areas.

Wonderful Experience! - Darko was an excellent host and driver. He was very friendly, funny, and an all-around lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Please note that this is not a guided tour. Darko drove us to the locations of our choice and gave us insider tips and information but then we were on our own which was perfect for us. We wanted to drive through the Alps on the way back to Vienna and Darko was happy to accommodate this. His van was clean and comfortable and he checked with us often to see if we needed a rest stop. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this experience!

fairytale town must see - this private tour picked us up from hotel and catered to all our needs. food, bathrooms, sights we wanted to stay longer or shorter. its perfect for customization and attention !

Lovely time - It was a wonderful experience. The drive to the location was exceptionally entertaining. Davor, our guide, was literally more like a long lost friend! He was so helpful and gave the best recommendations for food, souvenirs, and pictures. Lovely time!

Perfect Day in the Austrian Alps - The trip into the beautiful Austrian Alps started right on time ina Mercedes van (newer model in great shape and clean.)
Our driver and guide, Darko, began by listening intently to what my son and I might like to see and do on this day. He then customized our day and route to deliver the most incredible experience.
Darko was informative but didn’t over speak. He was intuitive and anticipated our probable likes and dislikes at each stop. At one point, he helped us select and order a terrific local breakfast that we enjoyed. He never hurried us and would always explain clearly the best spots to try and the ones to maybe bypass, always leaving it ultimately up to us.
Darko followed thru on everything he said he’d do, like sending to me information on the vineyard area of Vienna, as I might bring my wife next year for our anniversary. On the trip home, he recommended a great pizza place
for us in Vienna and instinctively, (because of his natural service instincts) made the reservation us as well. First class!!
We couldn’t have enjoy our tour more. Thanks again, Darko, for making our day one we will always remember!!
