Excellent experience - An excellent exhibition – exactly what I wanted to see, and the staff at the museum were helpful and above all, professional.

Enjoy - Great museum, both in terms of art (Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka among others) and in terms of building. Nice spacious with a clear order. And... relatively quiet so you don't stand around for the artwork.

Great gallery, lots to enjoy - The collections are beautifully displayed, with plenty of background information about the works & artists, & how the different times & styles interconnect. I went specifically for the Egon Schiele works - sad he died so young, but he left a prodigious collection. Lovely surroundings for the Museum, too - cool spaces on a really hot day.

Leopold > Belvedere - Outstanding collection of Schiele's works, and a good collection of other's work as well. Better than the upper Belvedere (which focuses more on Klimt, though with smaller collection). Sadly, I found Klimt's work to be less impressive in person, and Schiele's work to be more impressive in person. So it goes. On reflection, if I could only go to one, I would go to Leopold.

Essential - If you even had time for one museum go to this. It is not as crowded as the Belvedere and you can understand much better the Viennese art of the early 20th century. For me it was a revelation and allowed me to meet artists like Schiele that I knew little about. Also allow more than 2 hours for the visit and consider taking a combined ticket to the MUMOK, the beautiful contemporary art museum that is practically opposite, perhaps with a refreshing stop in the courtyard of the museum district.

Always worth a visit! - The Leopold Museum is always a recommendation both architecturally and in terms of the wonderfully curated exhibitions. The Biedermeier exhibition is absolutely worth seeing, but unfortunately the tour was not necessarily an information gain.

Beautiful but audiogui DA to improve - Nice interesting museum I went to see schiele and I was satisfied. Discreet audio guide could be improved. Cute bar for a mid-tour break

Nice background on more recent artists - It is a nice exhibit of art providing some insight into the Austria artists' style progression over the years. It would be nice if the museum offered more guided tours to obtain more knowledge and understanding.

Shocking - Beautiful and decadent at the same time. It's just my feeling to Me. I am not a fan of egon Schiele and I find some DE his works shocking. I won't bring a child there
